About
Our Wood Burning Pizza Oven was lit in 1997 and has been churning out pizzas and tasty dinners ever since! The oven is kept at a temperature of 500-550F by burning oak and other hardwoods which are fed through the front by a long handled shovel. This ensures the maximum flavour and a crispiness for every pizza we make. It can hold up to 10 large pizzas at once and cooking time is between 7-10 minutes. Be sure to take a look at the oven and pizza making process using our own homemade dough and Brick Oven pizza sauce. Whatever the special occasion - birthday, anniversary, club dinner, office party- The Brick Oven and The Mariner will help make it a memorable one with delicious food, music and

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Ordered wings and pizza. Wings were a decent portion, and delicious. Pizzas were fantastic, and enjoyed by all. Cooked fresh with fresh toppings. Absolutely amazing.

Got a booking last night for 9 men even though they were up the walls busy, 12 of us turned up and in fairness, Daniela's team looked after us and accommodated us. the fact they were so busy didnt in any way effect the quality...of food , with all dishes 100%. The fresh Hake was to die for. as well as all the seafood, fast friendly service and reasonably priced.More

Pre booked a table for two for an evening meal on the recommendation of a friend. Went for the fish and chips and my wife went for the lasagne, both were exceptional, and my wife added that the lasagne was the best she's ever tasted...outside of Italy! She had the house wine which was a good choice! Two wonderful deserts served in a jar with a handle followed ,prompt and friendly service was evident in the rather full restaurant! I must mention our table server Lucy who really looked after us ,what an efficient and friendly person and a credit to a wonderful restaurant , Will recommend it to all and sundry.More
