We were staying at a guest house in Ballylicky. I'm from the UK and I had data roaming turned off. I wanted to book a table so checked the web site and saw I could book on line. Using my guest house WiFi I filled in the required details. Had some weird issue either having to put I wanted a... More

We had booked for 8, then 9 and in the end there was a tenth lady came. All of us were fitted in with good humour, even though the small restaurant was packed with diners. All of us were very happy with the quality of the food, attractively presented. The choice of fish was excellent and those who ordered black... More

I had a starter plate of mussels and then an open faced sandwich with Dingle Bay crab. WOW. The mussels were very tasty and fresh, but the crab was the best ever. The place is upstairs of a fresh seafood shop and right across from a Supervalu supermarket that I would love to take back home with all its contents.

The soda bread is very good and there is an excellent choice of dishes. The fish dishes are... More

We come to Bantry twice each year on average and always make a point of booking a table at The Fish Kitchen, it is reliably excellent. The food is mainly simply-cooked fresh fish (as fish should be) done very well, with efficient and friendly service - the only place to eat if you are in Bantry

We came here on the recommendation of the owner of the B&B we were staying at. Neither I nor my friend were expecting what we found. We shared a two course fish platter. The only slight misstep was the seasoning on one of our shellfish (served in small morsels in the shell), where the salt bled into the liquid, leaving... More

I have always thoroughly enjoyed whatever I have ordered. The food is perfect. My mouth waters whenever I think of the Fish Kitchen. My husband and I eat there as often as we can. Dermott is charming and a wonderful host.
