Simply brilliant food, excellent service and super friendly. This is a real gem of a restaurant. From arrival to departure we could not fault this place. Have the fillet steak- simply one of the best steaks I've ever had.

Everything about this pretty restaurant recommends it, from the warm welcome from Noel, to the excellent food served. We had warm scampi salad-huge pieces of langoustine in a crisp jacket, and deep-fried Brie to start, then succulent steak and sous vide lamb with accompanying fresh,...in-season vegetables. A centre of culinary excellence located just outside Bantry, in an unassuming shed like building with plenty of parking. Inside it is cosy and bustling and usually full. The food is of an excellent quality. A relatively small menu but here is something for everyone....The steak and duck dishes are both particularly impressive. The quality of the vegetables is also excellent. Well worth a visit.More

We were lucky to eat here two nights during our recent visit to Bantry (we stayed across the road at Seafort) and we couldn't have been happier with our evenings. The restaurant is relaxing with excellent staff and a welcoming vibe. The wine list was...interesting, varied and very reasonably priced. The food was excellent and with very generous portions. We certainly understood why booking is an absolute must as this restaurant is a gem and we'd love if it was a local of ours... alas, it's not! Also, the curious presence of a very, very old menu for Corks' "Oyster Tavern" was delightful & reminded me of my college days... a few years ago....More

After 5 months in Ireland, including Dublin, I can say this was one of the two best meals we have had here. The ambience, the food, the presentation and the wait staff, are outstanding. What a fabulous meal! The whole thing was so enjoyable. The staff were great - really attentive and professional. I had crab claws which were gorgeous and then the duck. The others had steak which was delicious. There was a good selection of wine too....Would recommend.More

Stopped off last Friday for lunch, as always a plessure to be greeted by Noel and team. The food was amazing , choice unbelievable, exceptional quality and value for money, looking forward to visiting again👏👏

We were are a party of 5 today and each one of us were absolutely delighted with our meals. From start to finish it was delicious. The best food we have eaten in a long long time.

Best food in Bantry. I’ve eaten in most places in Bantry after second year in the row doing staycation there with the family. Noel and the team are brilliant. I forgot the chef’s name who needs a mention tooZ We were seated outdoor because not...all of us were fully vaccinated but it was a bit cold in their outdoor huts with no heating. We kindly ask to move to another outdoor seat (having 2 young kids and granny) where heaters are available and this was swiftly accommodated. Two/ three dishes on the menu change regularly depending on what the delivery man brings to the kitchen. Steaks are beautiful and always couple of specials available. The only (very small) disappointment was couple of wines I asked for were not available. Delivery was coming the next day but the wine list is not huge so fairly limited options when is comes to a little bit more premium wines. Overall a brilliant visit with great food and good solid service. PS: Noel, please do pop in for a drink when you visit Dublin in November (Martin and the family) 😉More

Would recommend to everyone! Food was fresh and delicious! Really had a lovely meal. They have pods for out door dining which are sheltered. Great service too!
