This is the only pub in the village. It is an old style pub we only visited for drinks and had great crack with Aidan a local man - he was so friendly and full of information about the area.

Great local music and local scene. Typical Irish late nights and great people watching. Menu carries local fresh salads and curries in addition to Irish cuisine.

The food is top class and the staff are so friendly and obliging it's second to none. The proprietor is a very genuine hard hard worker and is... More

Great authentic cozy pub with lots of character. The food was delicious, really high quality. They specialize in seafood and steak. i had a brie starter and the lemon sole for main, absolutely delicious and very fresh. Its a great little spot and you can order food up until 9.

They served a nice meal with good service and helpfulness. The food quality was good and the environment is a bar but comfortable if not crowded.

We had lunch at Boston's on three occasions during our stay in Portmagee. The visits ran the gamut, from standing-room-only on a Sunday during a soccer match on the pub's TV - to the first customers of the day with no-one else in the room. Each time, the service was wonderful, friendly, funny, and exactly what we needed for the... More

We went here after a local recommended it as the best food on the island. We were the only visitors (2 adults and 4 kids) for a late lunch during the busy July season; the service was fine but we were disappointed with the meal. The food was OK, but expensive for what you got. For example the calamari was... More
