Unfortunately not open today (Monday) despite what is said on site. Disappointing after trip to get there.
Came for Sunday lunch with my friends during the Ring of Kerry trip. Tasty Carbonara and nice atmosphere. A little longer time of waiting the dish, but it is ok it you are not in a hurry.
I was a part of a group tour that visited recently and the staff were so friendly to us! We were a huge group and they accommodated us well. The food was great also!
From the friendly greeting walking in off the street to the service and excellent food this place was a gem. We followed our servers recs as usual and it did not disappoint!
Another delicous dinner! Myself and my son had a fab meal here last week. Roast lamb and yummy burger. They are totally on top of the covid situation which is not an easy task. Great place to het food and feel safe.
Stopped off into this pub while waiting on the parade to begin. The place had a festive feel with staff dressed in green. Lovely menu to choose from and had plenty of traditional Irish dishes for the day that was in it. I choose the...bacon & cabbage which tasted delicious while my companion choose the beef and Guinness stew which also recieved a 10/10. We shared an Irish apple crumble which went down a treat. Lovely atmosphere with all tables full with diners and Geraldine our waitress was delightful and efficient. A nice touch was the chef checking tables . We returned after the parade for some drinks with the live music that started the evening at 5pm. Lovely spot the relax in , will. Call againMore
Chef Damion has introduced Waffles to what is already an outstanding Irish Breakfast experience, and yes, his variety of pancakes will blow you away as well
Was in for lunch with family and friends and also came in for a drink by myself. Each time the staff were warm and friendly and very attentive. Lunch was very tasty and the service was great. Fish pie, the chicken wrap and (if memory...serves me correctly) the Turkey and ham, were wolfed down. Desert was apple crumble and although it was just me, delicious. The atmosphere in the evening was superb, that bar was packed and despite noisy, the staff were on form also. Very much a place to visit….enjoyable .More
Myself and two friends were staying in Cahersiveen for the weekend and we would highly recommend going for food and drinks in the Fertha! The minute we walked in the door we were greeted with a warm welcome and it lasted the whole evening through....The food was lovely and wholesome, exactly what we were looking for. The lady was happy to answer any questions we had about the menu and we loved everything we got. Would definitely recommend the fish curry ! The atmosphere was excellent too, and the live music! Overall a great experience, we left with smiles on our faces!More
We had a lovely breakfast here recently, portions were large, food was hot & tasty and staff werefriendly and accommodating. Would definitely recommend!
After an eatry start having our hair cut. Went for breakfast it was just beautiful and the sausages the best too..thank you see you soon. Staff lovely and very well looked after..THANK YOU SUSAN AND CINDY
Great spot. Food was so tasty! Not the typical frozen chicken goujans some places serve up. They were delicious! Fish and chips too! Totally recommend!
We arrived in Cahersiveen around lunchtime with no idea where to go for lunch. A shop assistant recommended The Fertha Bar and so we decided to give it a try. We were glad we did, as from the outside it looked like it would be...a fairly small place but on entering the lounge, it opened out into a bright dining area. The staff were friendly and the menu had a good choice of dishes that you don't see on every other pub menu. The place was clean and the prices were reasonable. We would definitely eat there again.More
On our way to Valentia Island we stopped in Cahersiveen for a bit of shopping and lunch .Fertha was recommended by a neighbouring flower shop and what a good advice .The menu is not massive (always a good sign) and very diverse From traditional fish...and chips to seafood chowder ,toasted sandwiches and butternut squash pasta Brilliant .We had the chowder and buttermilk chicken dippers .Both excellent. The interior is fresh and nautical ,very clean (incl the toilets which I think is always a good sign ) and the staff is very competent and friendly All in all a very positive experience Will definitely visit again when passing throughMore
