Nice decor. Poor service. Asked for water 3 times. Yeah no problem... never arrived. Simple stuff that ruins a visit. And we were the only people there. Had the carrot and parsnip soup. 6.50 and didn't even both finishing it. Beyond bland. 5euro sausage roll...was ok. Not worth the price though.More

We asked for vegetarian pizza and were not disappointed. These may have been the best pizza's i've had in years. The wine was also very good, but too expensive.

Visited here with my husband and 2 year old. The pizza was lovely but as my toddler does not eat pizza I asked whether there any other child's option, eg a portion of fries. The waiter said that she would check as she knew they...did such food throughout the day (and this was 5.05pm, just after the menu changed from cafe to evening pizza). She came back saying they 'were not doing that'. The limited pizza options here are nice, but the inflexibility in relation to making an exception so my child would have something to eat really took away from the evening. I had called in earlier in the day and mentioned that I would like to go for dinner with family including 2 year old, and was told this would be the best time to come. I have visited here on lots of other occasions to buy take away coffee, cakes and other foods from the shop here and everything was very nice, but the service we received for dinner left a bad taste!More

We had breakfast here the last 2 mornings. Eggs shaksuka first day, fab and eggs florentine with bacon the second morning. Pricey but soo worth it. Pancakes with rhubarb and cherry compote with marscapone also really good. Coffee and scones gorgeous 😍 Staff very friendly...and good service. Ordered pizzas one of the nights. Toppings thrown on and just cut anyway. Would have given 5 stars but pizzas let them down! Well worth a visit for brekkyMore

We visited the place 4 times while staying 1 night in Glenbeigh. Coffee and delicious cakes outside at the small table in the afternoon , a really superb pizza in the evening .Scones, the nicest and most unusual ones I ever had , to take...away on our hike to the windy gap and more coffee and cake on our return . The food was excellent and unusual with its own unique twist . A great surprise . We also bought a loaf of sourdough bread to take home .More

This place is confused. Does it make pizzas? Is it a grocery store? Is it a toiletries/cosmetic store or is it something else entirely that it doesn't know about? We stopped while passing looking for lunch and were ushered into a dining area and presented...with a menu that although there is a big pizza oven, didn't offer a pizza. We opted for sandwiches which came and were OK, no more. We did have to sit, surrounded by a huge amount of on sale cosmetics/toiletries all of which appeared to be at the top end of the price point so I was amused when visiting the washroom to find liquid soap from Aldi. I wouldn't revisit, this place needs a root and branch sort out and the owner needs to decide what's on offer. Equally, don't bother with the website, it tells you nothing.More

Great sourdough rustic style pizzas. The jewel for me was the Pearl & Almond tart, a good height with generous moistness, crispy base and a delicious buttery taste, decorated in the French style with glazed pear slices.

Got here at 2.00pm, under the impression that we could grab some lunch. Went in to ask about sandwiches and got directed to a leaking fridge with a towel shoved underneath and told that was all that was left. (Three tuna sandwiches- soggy from the...packet condensation). Asked about hot food and was directed to a another near empty fridge with some sausage rolls. €7 each. Asked about ordering food to eat outside and confusingly had a sandwich, two sausage rolls, a cake and two coffees produced for take away and not stay in dining. No cutlery. No plates. Even though we were sitting at the front of the shop/restaurant. Eventually, saw another menu and asked about this and was finally told that the dinner menu is served from half past five. An earlier explanation would have saved a lot of confusion but there is clearly a lack of training for the role. The three teenage girls behind the counter were polite but clearly disinterested in their jobs and more interested in chatting amongst eachother. Disappointing as this place came highly recommended from our Air BnB owners.More

Glenbeigh has so many incredible assets, and I have to add Emilies . I dropped by yesterday morning , and was beguiled by the range of wonderful cakes, and scones, beautifully presented ,classic , and mouth watering !. I opted for glazed raisin scones, and...apple crumble slice . - All take away of course in the light of the current lockdown. Thank you Emilies, and I look forward to being a regular customer!.More
