My family and I are only here for a few days but they treated us like old friends! Their baking as good as any we’ve had anywhere. For a small town they are a gem. The owner was lovely and kind and even though everyone...was working hard and getting ready for the day took a minute to greet and welcome. From a tourist perspective this is so reflective of a place you are visiting. Thank youMore

Called into this bakery whilst staying overnight in the town. Sandwiches were delicious and had the "Best Vanilla Slice on the Planet"! Seriously tasty cakes and bakes. Don't miss out if you are in the area. All served by a lovely young lady from Northumberland....Thank you xMore

I wrote a review previously, and am happy to say I continue to visit this bakery which has remained excellent. Our favourite sandwich is the beef sandwich and is especially gorgeous when it's toasted. My favourite cakes are the blueberry tarts and the almond and...pear tarts. For Halloween, they had lovely pumpkin cupcakes which were delicious. They have some nice vegetarian options too. Staff are lovely and very friendly and all obliging. My only complaint is the coffee options, as it's from a machine rather than being made by staff. So there is less options around the strength of the coffee.More

If you don't feel like reading this whole thing - in summary - this may be a new owner and she should not be dealing directly with customers. She treated us very cruelly and I would advise everyone to just stay away from this place....I had traveled through Killorglin back in 2015 and always talked about how memorable one of Jack's sandwiches was. When I went back to Ireland in September (2021), I knew I had to get back there. My friend and I arrived for lunch and had a couple okay sandwiches. We decided to give it another try the next day as we were staying in the area and their baked goods looked pretty good. We arrived when they opened in the morning and were excited to order some goodies. When my friend asked which items were made that morning, the woman behind the counter began to berate my friend and also directed her attention towards me. Going on about how horrible it is to ask a question like that and even told my friend "she didn't have a brain." She told us she was the owner and went on and on until we had to just walk out. It was shocking! We were actually shaken by the verbal attacks that just continued on and on while her employees just watched awkwardly. Sure we can empathize with someone that works hard, early mornings, but my friend was very kind in the way she had asked, not realizing that it would offend anyone. Message to owner - If you hate the people who are going out of their way to visit your bakery and don't know how to interact with them in a humane fashion, why do you have a business? Maybe go back to baking things for yourself and leave the business operations to someone more suitable?More

I just happened to go in here for a coffee and was absolutely blown away by the high standard of food and customer service. Everything is delicious and the staff are fab. Couldn't recommend more.

Great toasted sandwiches on freshly baked bread and amazing cakes. You might find somewhere where the prices are cheaper, but you won't find somewhere better - it's worth every cent.

This place is amazing, although not cheap. We got some baked goods to takeaway and ate as a picnic lunch when we got to Valencia island.!What a treat! Try the apple crumble but beware it has raisins.

This is a gorgeous little place to stop off and grab a sandwich. They have some great bits and pieces in the shop too, and the treats are really inexpensive for what you get. Only thing it's missing is fancy coffee as they only have...a self-service machine.More

On holiday in Ireland last year, I happened to come across this wonderful little bakery while strolling through the town of Killorglin. They sell some excellent home baked cakes, one of which I had with a coffee. On my last day before getting a bus...to the airport before getting a flight back to Britain, I had a slice of banana bread and ordered a coffee and sat outside on a table and chair provided, where met a group of cyclists, who were riding through Kerry. We shared some great craic amongst ourselves. It also sells some fabulous deli items, like Italian pasta and locally made Irish chocolates, among other things.More

Great range of cakes, breads, pies etc. Deli counter, coffee. Picked up toasties to go and some apple pies, coleslaw, bread and scones for later. All really good.
