Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Beautiful old style classic restaurant. Full of charm and history. The food is lovely for the evening meal. Not as happy with the lunch menu. The dinner is completely faultless. Will return time and time again if they keep producing such good meals. Very affordable...too.More

We visited on a dismal rainy day in early February for lunch, and the place was busy despite the time of year and weather. The menu had some imaginative options and was very reasonably priced. I had a delicious Lebanese Halloumi and sweet potato wrap...and my husband had what he said was a very good Cajun chicken sandwich in proper (hand sliced bread). Service was friendly and welcoming - I can highly recommend the Bianconi for lunch! (But note: it is closed for de-decorating for a short while from the 19th February)More

Went for a night with friends. Food was ok nothing special. It lacks imagination. A little on the cold side. Service was slow. Quiet a draft from the door also.

Wonderful few days in Killorglin. "The Bianconi" is the place to stay, fabulous rooms and really friendly staff. The restaurant has a great atmosphere with excellent food. Hazel & Ger are the perfect hosts, always ready for a chat and the craic, over a great...pint of Guinness. The many pluses couldn't overcome the negatives here. The restaurant was top notch and the location was excellent. We were surprised by the small room, since many reviewers said they had spacious accommodations. Our room faced a main thoroughfare and while reasonably quiet in the...night, was lousy with agri-truck traffic from pre-sunrise on. We had asked for a quiet room away from noise, and understanding it was only a request, we could not help but be disappointed. In addition, the level of cleanliness could have been better. It's always distressing to see black mold in the corners of the shower and the tea kettle is a bit grimy. Plastic artificial flowers/plants in the public rooms are unnecessary and collect dust. Not a great addition to the breakfast table.More

Top notch meal. Food was exceptional. Have travelled round Ireland for 10 days and this was the best Seafood Chowder we have experienced. Rory was a fabulous host, attentive, informative and friendly. Just wish it was closer to home.
