My husband and I had a delicious meal here and first class service. When I raved about my fillet my husband asked the chef how he cooked it so perfectly. The chef gave us detailed cooking instructions. The chef and staff went out of the way to provide excellent food and service.

When we rang to book, early that morning we spoke to the owner/chef, who was out in the garden picking salads and herbs. Now that was impressive! We had the shellfish linguine, and the other option which included a lobster. We asked for the spicy version. It was lovely, with obvious elements of fresh chilli and sliced garlic visible in... Went here for sat night dinner. Beautiful homemade pasta, beef ravioli for starter in a sage and butter sauce and whole lobster and mussels linguini. My bf had a monster steak. Great Italian wine and cheese plate rounded off a very enjoyable evening. Service was great also. Highly recommend

This is a small place, with limited number of tables. The owner is the chief, and a very talented chief too. After you have dined, he comes round to your table for a chat and to ensure that everything was right with the meal. A very unique touch, from a very human person. The waitress has been there for over... More

Small, but still spacious enough not to feel cramped. Owner on premises is always a good sign - and it holds true for Giovannelli's as well. Just enough background music to keep atmosphere relaxed, but nothing intrusive. Service was friendly and personal. The food...well, you expect it to be excellent, because this is a small boutique restaurant and it is... More

Really nice, small & cosy place. Great atmosphere. Expensive enough but the food is really good. The seafood linguine looks fantastic. I had the black sole and it was really nice. The bottle of house red we had was excellent too.

The best meal in Ireland, could not fault any dish. The chef took the time to come out to the table after the meal and have a chat. All produce so fresh..the wait staff were attentive and knew their menu..loved it

What a fantastic restaurant. We had lobster bisque, gnocci gongonzola, linguini with shellfish, tiramisu, valpolicella, and coffee - all excellent. The staff were attentive without over servicing. We have eaten at the best italian restaurants around the world and this is up there - highly recommended!
