Absolutely wonderful - great atmosphere, super pianist, lovely décor, very friendly people - nothing too much trouble. The Lamb was delicious ! All the food was sumptuous, and wines of course. Brilliant fun. Hope we weren't too loud for the other diners.

Called here on spec again Saturday evening, luckily got a table immediately. They had an early bird menu on offer between 5pm and 7pm for starter , main course, dessert for €28 , superb value for the quality of food you are given. I'll find it hard to pass this place when I'm in killorglin again.

Wonderful evening. We were a party of 13 and all had a great night. The food was delicious as was the wine (hic!), oh, and of course followed by scrummy Irish coffee. Lovely atmosphere with friendly staff, made all the more special by the talented piano player. Thank you very much. I hope we'll be back in Ireland to visit... More

I had not been in Nicks for a few years and after a great meal there last Sunday evening I definitely won't leave it as long again. We shared a starter of the best calamari I've eaten in Ireland, 2 fish mains - sea bass and hake - with the fish fresh tasting and cooked just-so and shared a dessert... More

Went on Saturday night and it was a fantastic meal and setting. I had trio of fish which tasted as good as it looked and the surf and turf is already on my list for next time !!

Absolutely fabulous service and cuisine. I had the most amazing venison wellington. I think it's possibly one of the best things I've ever eaten.

Absolutely fab night with great food and great hospitality from John & his team. We came over from London especially to be with family and there could only be one place for this special occasion. Excellent night well done.
