We visited this restaurant on a busy Saturday evening, with no pre booking. The place was heaving but luckily we still managed to get a table. The staff were very friendly & welcoming, despite us not having booked before hand. Food was really good, honestly...one of the best main courses I have had in months. Would highly recommend!More

We called here today with the intention of having dinner. We had our dog with us so obviously needed to eat outside at one of the many vacant tables. We entered the bar to get some menus and pre-dinner drinks. Unfortunately the manager was having...none of it!!!…they couldn’t serve any meals outside because of lack of staff!! This was despite the fact that several waiting staff were to be observed wandering around and not appearing particularly busy!! We were then given directions to another pub down the road which turned out to be non existent! Is it really any wonder that the Irish hospitality industry is in such dire straits????More

My family and I had a fantastic meal on Friday evening. Everything from the food and service was excellent. It was great to see Catriona again, she hasn't changed a bit. She always looked after us in her last waitressing job and she did the...same again Friday evening. Thank youMore

Traveled down the Atlantic coast to Bromore Cliffs and this was about 30 minutes away. Since it was off-season and on a Monday this was one of the only places open. Despite that, it was a nice stop. My order was a medium rare stake...with a chicken cesar salad. Salad was very good and exactly what I hoped for. Steak was perfect and the 'brandied peppercorn sauce' that came with it was amazing. Fries were dry but I used them to clean out the peppercorn sauce. The other person I traveled with got spicy shrimp tagliatelle with blue cheese and pear salad. She liked her salad, but said the tagliatelle was bland, not very spicy, and needed salt. I tasted t and thought it was good and very savory, but didn't taste any spice. Overall it was a very nice meal but overpriced, probably because that town was a tourist spot. Two starter salads, pasta, and steak added up to over 70 euros.More

Great steak sandwich with plenty of dressing, mushrooms, pepper sauce and onions. A little bit expensive but nice

My friend and I ate here two days ago . We both had roast cod, mustard sauce and mash. We concurred in our opinions that it was absolutely delicious. Apart from the lovely flavours the food was served piping hot on nicely warmed plates. I...am not usually in that part of Kerry but this restaurant merits a return trip. Well done.More

Interesting visit here. Just had the soup, french onion, which was superb. Very busy but the staff coped well. Not too much parking but we got lucky.

Yes, booking is necessary for ‘special’ days such as during the Christmas / New Year period, Mother’s Day. It gets very busy. Check it’s open first.
