Really enjoyed our dinner in Marconis this August. We went for the early bird option which allows you to choose from the full menu, unlike some where restrictions are in place. The food was beautiful - I had the crab, salmon & prawn tian for...More

One of the most delicious dinners i have ever had! Everything: bread, soup, 2 different fish dishes, sides were incredibly tasty. Most highly recommended!

Even though the main restaurant was full the manager opened up a separate room for us and found us a table straight away. Food was excellent - pan fried hake and interesting veg (not the usual carrots and peas!) followed by warm larva cake with...More

8 of us enjoyed a most beautiful meal in this restaurant which is part of Foyles Hotel. This restaurant is regarded as the best restaurant in Clifden. Well deserved.

Arriving at 6.30 we were told the table should be free at 8.15, but as we planned only to take a maincourse and no starter this was not a problem for us. The restaurant is quite dark but probably authentic. We took the Chilli &...More

Ate here with my partner and his mum tonight and we were very disappointed. This is the first negative review I have ever written about a restaurant, I worked in the service industry for years, and I know it's much better to try to sort...More

We went at 6.30pm without a reservation, and we were not disappointed. There was an early bird 2 or 3 course menu deal which was good value. Everything was delicious. We both had the chowder which was tasty and well-presented. Then my boyfriend had the...More

A charming family run restaurant managed personally by the Foyles for a century. We focus on fresh, seasonal ingredients, (sourced locally where possible), specialising in Seafood and traditional Irish Favourites, there is something to suit every taste. The restaurant is set in distinctive surroundings, full of interesting artefacts covering the history of Connemara and the hotel. You can expect a professional, friendly service, creative cooking, offered at a fair price in a relaxed ambience.
