this is the most traditional pub in clifden in my opinion. a lot of regulars and characters in this pub. it was jam packed, very small space.

Popped in for a drink and was given a warm welcome. We ended up outside as the sun was out. Would have loved to have been there in the evening to listen to some live irish music but we went there in the afternoon which was a lot quieter but still happy we got to visit

Great place to sample whiskeys and enjoy live music. Draws a crowd of locals and tourists. Cozy atmosphere. Just wish they had a better selection go wine!

Lowrys is the best place to go in Clifden if you want a bit of live Irish music. There were two different acts on when we were there and the quality was excellent. Lots of tourists but that lends to a friendly atmosphere in the pub. Good pint of Guinness as well. It's a fun friendly pub

Lowrys is one of the best authentic bar in Clifden. The bartenders are great and the service is exceptional. The locals make it a fun place and they welcome you like family. You can't beat the music of the local bands. Great craic for sure!

We were here mid-week and early in the night but a bunch of people were very drunk. Quite an unpleasant atmosphere. I was served a very average pint of Smithwicks.

Hi Conor, thanks for taking the time out to write a review. We are disappointed to hear that your experience was not as enjoyable as we would hope. Lowry's would be renowned for its warm and welcoming atmosphere and the ambience you refer to would not be representative at all of what the typical atmosphere in the pub would be... More
