Excellent. Just what we needed on a rainy afternoon. Seafood chowder so fresh you could taste the individual fish. Went back again for mussels and they were soooo good. Forced ourselves to finish the very generous portions. Good beer & really very good, friendly, efficient...More

We stopped, for just an hour, in Clifden while on our tour. Since we were a bit hungry we stopped in Mannions Bar for a quick lunch. It’s a nice, local place with friendly servers and a good menu. We ordered beers, salad, a ham sandwich...More

We are so annoyed after visiting Mannions bar and feel completely ripped off. They are effectively charging restaurant prices for what is very poor quality pub grub. I ordered the fish and chips which was €15.95 and it was completely tasteless and dripping in grease....More

You walk in this place, it's just a regular looking restaurant, but bright and cheery. There's a TV in the back, everyone wanted to watch a hurling match. It's just unassuming, then the food comes out. Do yourself a favor and get the lamb stew....More

Arrived for lunch on Sunday. Staff disinterested wasn't busy at all. Lamb stew small and had half a small potato, entrée size. My husband had asked while ordering for a small bowl of chips to accompany stew. I replied you probably wont need it as...More

Fantastic little pub and restaurant, opened in 1930, on Market Street, Clifden, Co. Galway. Just the place to have dinner and drinks after a hike in the hills of Connemara. Excellent food with all ingredients locally sourced. The sea food is especially good. Prices are...More

Unfortunately dogs are not allowed in Irish restaurants. Sitting outside, beside or under the table is never a problem.
