We dined here recently and while the food is still quite good, particularly the tempura prawns, the prices have gone off the scale. The prawn starter was 13.50 Euro and main courses are around 17-18.50 Euro. We ordered a bottle of white Rioja priced at...27.50 Euro, about three times its cost in a supermarket. It was both mediocre and overpriced. My wife had two starters and no mains. I ordered the beef stew which was quite good but not memorable. A large blob of mash had been slapped on top, so presentation was poor. With one dessert and a couple of drinks out bill came to just over 90.00 Euro. For bar food this is exorbitant. Maybe the social distancing rules has meant fewer clients so the prices have been jacked up. However, we won't be coming back for a repeat. It's way, way too expensive.More

Visited this restaurant last week while on short break in the area. All Covid precautions in evidence, while service, food and value were excellent. We will return .

For a gastro pub the food in my view is a notch above. Very nicely laid out with booths for anything up to 4 people. It was a pleasure. Very good wine list at very reasonable prices. Will visit again.

We had takeout pizzas from Guy's, delicious toppings on thin bases, with friendly efficient service. Well prepared for Covid with a number of tables in booths.

Great food and drink. They have gluten free pizza and offer gluten free bread. The gin and wine selection was good. The bar/restaurant itself has lots of booths and is very cosy.

Restaurant obviously not interested in booking table for 2.Ate here many years ago and loved it. Made 3 attempts to book and was given conflicting reasons as to why we weren't able to get a table. Was made feel like a nuisance. Won't bother trying...if I am here again.More

Super friendly staff, excellent food. We had the tempura prawn salad and the fish and chips. Tasty and quality food. Great ambience. Cosy. They accommodated our little doggie too which was so impressive. Highly recommend it.
