Could not recommend. Waited 40 minutes for sub standard lunch which was way overpriced for what we got. Very disappointing. Won’t be returning

The food is spectacular. We had the fish and chips and the fish just melted away in your mouth. The staff is very friendly and you do not have to wait for your food to be served. It might sound like a simple dish but...it is presented beautifully. The live folk music is excellent!!More
The manager/owner Sean is an excellent host. Food and service were excellent. I had the fish and chips, wife had the burger. The fish and chips were good , the burger was excellent. It was a Monday and they had live trad music, which we...really appreciated.More
Sean Collins Bar, Alladins cave with old memorable treasure, but the biggest one was Sean himself , a GENTLEMAN, that cooks one hell of a mean tasty blue steak, which I might add is a rarety to get it EXACTLY right.....been a diabetic your treated...like a nuisance every where you go, or that you on a starvation diet which is not the case, no one seems to listen or care more to the point...NOT the case with Sean, the complete opposite to be exact, he pulled up a stool, held his notepad and pen in hand and took note of all down and served up a storm....food makes me happy or mad, and I floated on cloud 9 thanks to Sean been so diligent , creative and caring in how he looked after me and the gang from the midlands....that's why I ate there for the week and going back in late Sept for another round, so have the grill GOOD AND HOT, il be ordering again Sean, this time with the hubby...100% recommended, your treated as an individual instead of a number and then pushed out the door in the rat race that is in a lot of pubs in the vicinity....keep up the good work..🖤More
Fantastic food. The food was so good, we ate there four nights in a row and ordered something different each time. They were more than happy to cater to our dietary requirements. We can't recommend it highly enough. We're looking forward to our next trip...to Adare.More
Our favorite pub in Adare by far. Great relaxed atmosphere, perfect Guinness and fantastic music. And Sean couldn’t be more welcoming.
First I need to say, the staff were excellent, very attentive and cleaning at any free moment. We were there for a late lunch and drinks. We had a starter and main course each, four different items. The food was OK at best, eatable but...lacking much flavour and certainly wouldn’t entice us to go back. The Guinness was not bad but a long way from good, I wouldn’t go back for it either. Again the friendliness and professionalism of the staff made up for the downfalls in the food and drink.More
Great atmosphere and food. The folks were friendly and the local musicians invited me to play along with them. They even provided me with a banjo as the fellow playing banjo had an extra one and ran out to his car to get it.
Stopped by here on a cold Sunday afternoon. Sat beside the 100 year range. Excellent food and very friendly staff. We’ll be back!
My wife and I spent an pleasant hour or so with Sean mid-week. He’s a wealth of Irish information, his pints are cold and reasonably priced. His kitchen was closed but his recommendation of his brother’s establishment for a bite was spot on as was...his recommendation to tour Malahide as we did later in the week waited for our flight. Enjoyed the visit Sean!More
We visited Sean's bar during the JP McManus pro am, a really nice bar with very friendly staff and owner. The food was excellent and 1 of the best steaks you will get anywhere. Will definitely call again next time we are in the area.
My family and I visit Sean Collins pub every year on our way back from holiday in Kerry and it remains a firm favourite. The pizzas and wraps are delicious and there’s always a warm welcome. Highly recommended.
Friendly, lively Irish pub with Amazing food! It was a Saturday night so i called ahead for a table of four. We arrived in 30 minutes and Sean remembered my name And had our table ready for us. The food is fresh. We had salmon,...prawns, spicy chicken, and pizza. Sean came by to check on is and visits. The service is too notch. Good choice of food and libations. This is a locally owned Pub and the pride shows in all the staff! Thank you Sean for a great meal after a long day!More
Went there twice - food great and very welcoming. Like many places staff shortages but they handled it quite well.
The food here is delicious and the service is excellent. The steak and chocolate biscuit cake were delicious. This pub is a little hidden gem in Adare, lovely atmosphere, very relaxed. Second time here, will be going again!
