To everyone in The Woodlands, thanks a million. The four of us had a brilliant time. The festive atmosphere on arrival, with all the beautiful decorations set the tone for our stay. The kids were so excited to be staying in the same hotel as...Santa. We were seated in the room with all of the other families for 5:45. Dinner was lovely. Mrs Claus and the Elfs were fantastic with the kids. When it was their time, the kids got a great kick out of being called to see Santa and the walk from our table to the grotto held the bit of magic for a few minutes longer. Santa while remaining socially distanced was very warm and welcoming. We have some great photos of the kids looking at him in awe. Back in the room we were entertained with a Quiz, Christmas jokes and the like. The following morning the kids finished off their stay with pancakes with Nutella.......It is a shame that this review wouldn’t be complete without mentioning Covid and on reflection it is very clear the lengths the hotel went to make our stay as safe and socially distanced as possible. Best steaks in the West

Timmy Macs is such a gem. I have eaten here a good few times over the years and the quality of food, their service and the selection of starters, mains, deserts is simply excellent and not overpriced. My personal favourite it their steak, but don‘t...miss the desert, and then you may as well get a starter and get the whole menu. Just don‘t go to the pool after that cos you‘d sink like a stone (in a nice way). A perfect evening, every single time. Very professional management. Any small mishap is handled straight away, should it occur in a rare occasion. Everyone is treated with great friendliness and respect. Looking forward to the next time, and it will be steak again...More

Supper with Santa

This was an excellent trip to the woodlands. We have two small children 19 months and 3 years and found the hotel and the staff extremely accommodating to us. The Santa supper was an excellent experience, the elves and Santa himself were just super magical.The...pictures we received via email were of exceptional quality. The supper itself was delicious. The boys both received an activity pack which they were delighted about. We had not been anywhere as a family since well before March and found the facilities extremely safe and the staff were second to none. We will definitely return to Supper with Santa again, it was a fantastic family experience.More

Super Supper with Santa

From check in to check out our family stay at the Woodlands was superb. The family suite was amazing, so stylish and spacious and the beds were so comfortable. The staff were friendly, attentive and nothing was a problem. We had an amazing dinner and...breakfast at the hotel. The table service was second to none. We have been to the Woodlands serval times for many occasions and they never ever fail to deliver a top quality experience. This occasion was ‘Supper with Santa’ and it was amazing. As a family we have been to lots of different Santa ‘experiences’ but what the Woodlands deliver is magical. From meeting the Elves to jokes, chats and quizzes with Mrs Claus, the evening began with magical memories and lots of festive fun. As a family meeting Santa is an experience we look forward to so much every year. The chats with Santa at the Woodlands were amazing. The expressions on the boys faces as Santa engaged with them and made them laugh were incredible and ones I will cherish. The Woodlands have created so many wonderful memories for us and I’m looking forward to many more in the future with them.More

Christmas at Timmy Macs

Timmy Macs is a fabulous restaurant. The options are brilliant and the food is five star quality. The piri piri chicken burger was incredible and the staff were so accomodating with aĺl our requests. All our friends were raving about the standard of the food...and the service we recieved. Great for families, friends or couples. 10/10.More

Christmas Night out without the kids

Just back from dinner in Timmy Macs - the chocolate fondant was probably the best chocolate dessert I've ever had. The rest of the meal was lovely - wait staff were very friendly and attentive, I wouldhighly recommend, but that chocolate fondant was amazing. Just...go for the chocolate....More

Wonderful dining experience!

Had a fab evening with friends recently, all covid compliant and felt totally safe. Food was delicious, as it's the season, I chose the Turkey and ham for dinner, amazing! Never disappointed with the food at the Woodlands. Looking forward to dining out again over...Christmas 👏👍More

Super Choice and Delicious Food

Had a meal on Friday night. The choice on the menu was extensive. I went for the seafood parcel to start, Chicken piri piri burger for main and Baked Alaska for dessert! It was all delicious. The service was second to none and we had...a most enjoyable evening.More

Lovely food
