Expensive, 1 cappuccino, 1 flat white,1 americano , 1 slice of polenta cake, 1 slice maderia cake and 1 slice soda brown bread = €24. The cakes were fresh and tasty but unfortunately the cappuccino was poor quality.

Visited here with a group of friends and we all really enjoyed it... we were all at varying levels of hunger so some had lunch and some just tea/coffee and cakes, but everyone was happy! I personally had the orange cake and it was beautiful!...Everyone working there was very friendly and looked after us well, and there was a nice cosy atmosphere... would definitely recommend checking it out!More
We were looking for somewhere for lunch in Carrick on Shannon. We didn't want a big meal but something healthy and not heavy. We found lenas after several unsuccessful attempts at other places. The menu was perfect... Unfortunately we were greeted by a slightly cold...lady. I appreciate its hard to determine purples expressions from behind face masks but it was palpably frosty. Apart from the cold reception we had a lovely lunch and would recommend it on the basis of the food and the decor.More
Had some delectable baked treats and smooth coffee for elevenses at Lena's Tea Room, while thoroughly enjoying the quirky yet refined decor. Exceedingly pleasant staff, great value and top notch adherence to covid safety procedures. Thoroughly pleasant!
Had a below average experience here today. Ordered 2 coffees, a mocha, a flat white and a savoury muffin and "coffee cake". First of all the price was expensive...13 euros...(the muffin was tiny). The service was just okay at the till. We felt the lady...serving us was rushing us to choose a little. My husband's mocha was average at best, my flat white with oat milk was TERRIBLE. The coffee was so bitter. The muffin was just edible but the coffee cake was the biggest let down. Stale cake and icing with absolutely no hint of coffee in any part of the cake. One of the worst cakes I've ever tasted. Didn't even finish it. Really big let down. I can't understand the positives reviews unless we hit it on a bad day. Don't be fooled by the appearance and the location...The food, coffee and service doesn't match. We choose here over the olive tree and are disappointed we did.More
A must stop for lunch when in Carrick. The milk bread is amazing best bread I have ever had. Have tried the chicken and ham sandwich both so lovely. The decor and china adds to a lovely experience. Will definitely return.
Always enjoy the ambience, the crockery, the tea/coffee and, of course, the food. A lovely lovely place to visit. Go on treat yourself. We did.
I enjoyed a nice Earl Grey tea and cake with a client on a rainy afternoon. The cake and I believe all of their pastries are home made. Lovely place.
we dropped into the tea rooms for a bit of refreshment and were not disappointed with the place . our tea and coffee were fresh and hot ,and the service was very good and friendly - highly recommended .
Fantastic tea rooms. Tea from a china teapot and china cups, saucers & plates. Had what were probably the freshest and lightest cake and buns that I ever had. Taste and flavour's were exceptional. Ordered at the counter and the service was fast, with everything...coming together which was a welcome change in comparison to most other places. Super staff, buzzing around the place making sure that everything was going like clockwork. A tearoom full of customers speaks for itself. It is true that customers walk with their feet and in this case they were walking in in droves and slow to move out. An exceptional experience. Well done.More
