Everything from the very second we sat down was sensational, from the staff to the atmosphere. Everything was top class. Caoimhe and Jenny who looked after us like royalty were on another level but I have to give it to all the staff, they were...superb. I almost have no words to describe the food but sufficed to say you will not be disappointed. I will be returning to the Red Bank very soon, hungry for more.More

Second visit to the outdoor dome for Sunday lunch. We had lunch here three weeks ago and it was fantastic. Believe it or not this time it was even better. The menu has been increased to provide an even greater choice. The service was once...again first class... Kudos to the excellent Caoimhe. All in all a lovely experience and we'll be back again soon. Last time I gave 4 stars... probably deserved 5 but I'm always reluctant to give the maximum... However there's no doubting the full 5 for last Sunday. Well done to Jason and all the team.More

Myself and four friends booked the Red Bank after a weekend cruising the Shannon. It was a very wet evening but we had a lovely enclosed outdoor space and full of atmosphere. The food was simply divine….varied and interesting menu, large portions, not overpriced, good...wine listing. Not one of us had a single complaint. The staff were running up and down stairs in pouring rain but remained good humoured and friendly. This restaurant would be in my top five and recommend highly.More

We were worried that we should have booked The Oarsman due to it's awards but after eating we had no regrets. Fantastic menu & food.

Wow Wow Wow, we had our first outing at the weekend to The Red Bank Restaurant in Carrick, and the food was absolutely delicious, it would be difficult to say which course was best as each one tasted fantastic, mouth watering and exciting. The staff...were friendly, inviting and attentive, even the music was great. Well done to all the team in the kitchen and the front of house staff, it was a truly great night, my only regret was that I hadn't visited sooner but I will definitely be in again. Thank you to all involved.More

Really enjoyed our lunch today, sat in the outdoor area with my mum, the staff enquired as to whether we needed a blanket, which was brought straight away. Drinks arrived in a timely fashion, followed by 3 types of bread ( yeast, brown soda ,...sage and bacon) with a whipped butter, we both ordered starters of tomato soup and a goats cheese salad with a pickled beetroot. We both had mains of Cod fillet , fennel with poached egg and Fillet steak like butter to cut, with a swede & turnip dauphinois . Best lunch out and would highly recommend, the staff were so lovely and I’m already looking to go back next week!More

Our first visit to this restaurant. Booked for the indoor restaurant area but was told only space in the bar was available. I was happy with this. Unfortunately our table was immediately adjacent to the door to the outside area, which was open all the...time. We had dressed for indoor dining but would have been better if we had more layers. The food was fabulous. The staff were professional and friendly. We should have been informed that we should dress warm though. Unfortunately this spoiled our night.More

Recently enjoyed a night out for my friends birthday, it was in a outdoor area out the back which was really well set up and comfortable, the service was amazing and always on hand, the food choice was excellent I had the braised beef which...was delicious, also a fabulous cocktail menu - everything was presented very well. There was also a young guy playing music in the background which was very good. All round great night and excellent value can’t wait to return.More
