We visited the Oarsman for a family get together recently. We had eaten at the Oarsman over 3 years ago, and hoped the quality of the food would still be as good as we remembered. It was just as wonderful as we had remembered....simply delicious!...More

Visited for the first time last Friday for lunch. Very busy but staff were very quick to take our order. Food was excellent and very reasonable in price. Lovely cosy warm atmosphere. Will definitely dine there again.

Yes you should go upstairs. there is two sections one over the bar, it has wooden floors and a little noisy. it would be better to get the the area at the side of the stairs for the group. Enjoy.
