This was one of my favorite locations in Kinsale and I returned multiple times. Olivia helped my family on both occasions and she was super-friendly and accommodating. I had the fish and chips during both of my visits because they were delicious! My family had various other dishes and none were disappointed. They have a great selection of draft beers... More

Lovely outside and inside and very quaint but food was a disappointment. Bread before meal was the best part. Ordered the chicken dish which was ok but nothing spectacular and poorly presented. Vegetables looked like they were sitting there all day and just fired into a microwave. chicken lovely but potatoes covered in butter. Staff very friendly especially barman.

I have previously visited Kinsale in 2010 and we had dinner I. The White House. Back then I had a lover Sea Bass meal while my then girlfriend (now Wife) had steak. It was a fabulous dinner. We again visited with our baby boy. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was quiet and the restaurant itself is lovely.... More

First off, The White House pub entrance is GREEN! Don't go looking for a white front to cue you that you have arrived. We were searching during the gloaming hour, in the rain, and sort of hunched under an umbrella. So you'll understand why we walked past it, twice. The pub is CHARMING, all caps. The restaurant is mid-century chic,... More

Loved the White House! I had the mussels and my husband had the fish n chips. We were both so happy! I also got a dessert that had a sort of butterscotch sauce that was poured over a chocolate cake. (Or something like it.) AMAZING! Drooling just thinking about that dinner. Wonderful table service, very friendly people work there.

We were visiting Ireland on a missionary trip and decided to eat at The White House. The food was exceptional and the restaurant was very clean, and the manager friendly. I would recommend to anyone who wants a good "home cooked" meal with friendliness as an addition.
