Feels local and lots of behind the bar selections from bottom shelf to top shelf liquor. Fun to talk w/ the locals. Cozy and quaint.

We had a lovely evening in Kitty O'Se's ( which is not what you would expect from the outside, looks like a traditional old pub, inside it is a superpub!) during our stay in Kinsale at the end of May. It was absolutely packed on...a Monday night, with great live music, great food and brilliant atmosphere. Donna especially made our evening so enjoyable! Even though she was clearly very busy, she chatted to us like she had known us all her life, she was just lovely. Dave also helped us get seated for food which was not an easy task on such a busy night. Over all it was a great experience, we are already looking forward to returning.More

We showed up very late to Kinsale, so late food service was over, but the music was so good we opted to stay and have a Guinness dinner. We went back the next day and there was another singer there, and he was just as...great. We’ve seen several Irish singers in pubs here, but both nights in Kinsale have been the best. Those guys shred. Shout out also to lovely Phil at Danabel B&B and the Black Pig for a delicious meal!More

We first stopped in to watch some Irish football and drink a pint. Came back later after dinner to a packed bar and two guitar playing singers. The place was rocking, dancing to the local favorite songs. Great experience. The sign over the bar said..."NO Wi FI - pretend like it is 1995 and talk to your friends" I agree wholeheartedly.More

On Friday 17th June I was part of a hen party who went o Kitty O Se's for a few drinks after dinner. We had great craic with the rebel band who were playing and danced the night away. Once the band finished at 12:30...the bald bouncer came over to one of the girls in the group who was dancing, grabbed her by the arm and told her and the rest of the group that we had to leave. Another member of the hen was speaking to the manager at the bar as she had just bought a drink. Once she saw this happening she asked the manager why we were being asked to leave, he and the members of the band said we were ok to stay and that they didn't understand why we were being asked to leave. The bouncer was after calling another blonde female bouncer over and she too couldn't tell the manager why they were trying to get rid of us. This male bouncer was rude and very aggressive towards the group. Shocking behaviour from a 'professional' and it totally ruined the whole night. Wouldn't be back due to this experience.More

We went there the night before we left. The meal was fantastic, the service was superb and the atmosphere was fun and relaxing. Too bad we couldn't stay for the music. I loved this place.

I'd say after 6, they always have constant live music. It's certainly more lively as the night goes on so it's good to get there a bit early to get a table, eat then stay through all the music.

Prices are well under the cost of drinks in Dublin. The cost of a pint of Guiness would be in the region of 4 to 5 euros. Great pub and very friendly
