This restaurant was the lucky find, during our pre Xmas weekend away from our Tipperary home. We had hoped to dine at Sugan but it was full to capacity, just our good fortune. We wandered down a side street in the knowledge that we would...surely find someplace, early on a Saturday night, then we came across Indulge. The location was fine and although the restaurant was upstairs, it was welcoming with seasonal decorations on display. The staff were friendly and professional, checking our temperature, Covid certs etc. Straight to the food and the main reason for this review! I've rarely been so impressed. The passion for his craft, the knowledge of his offering and the presentation on the plate was all superb. This was not just art on a plate, it WAS quite arty, but the actual food preparation showed a keen interested in the appreciation of the diner for his meal. I had a Thai Curry and my wife had leg of Duck. What an experience for us both. We savored every morcel of our meal. Perhaps it was because of the pending restricted opening times that were recently announced for hospitality that gave the Chef the time to devote to our meal, that made it so memorable. Nevertheless it was much appreciated and this couple can hardly wait to return for another gastronomic offering at this true Gem.More
