Nice food but very poor service. Tables were very slow to be cleared and it took 20 minutes to get a sandwich made and when I got it everyone else had nearly finished eating. Good food once I got it. Staff pleasant.

Had a nice Sunday lunch in here. Roast beef with all the trimmings and although the staff were run off their feet, they were still able to raise a smile.
O'Donovan's has a really quaint Irish pub. We loved every minute of our visit. They had a warm fire going and lots of friendly locals to tell us about the town.
I love this place and always visit when in Clonakilty the food is fabulous and the bar service is very good .
Lovely premises and helpful staff. Good varied menu and great atmosphere in this premises. definitely be back here, great place to eat.
Couple visited O'Donovan's on a Sunday afternoon for lunch. Food was average price and was satisfactory but not outstanding. Service was quite slow.
Every time I am in Clon I make sure I go here for breakfast fry, even though I don't eat meat. It has loads more than rashers and sausages, such as eggs, mushrooms, beans, tomatoes and hash browns (get there early for these!). Yum....
We came in because it was the only pub without TV sports turned on. All big tables were reserved for local people but every of them just with two people. Although it was not crowded we had to wait for a table for about half...More
