Called to Murphs with friends for a drink but ended up eating in this lovely establishment. Staff were so friendly it tempted us to look at the Menu, which was extensive and with a good selection of evening specials too. Food was excellent, I had cod which was as good as I ever had. Their wine selection very good also.... More

Arrived to Murphs today on a lovely sunny day and the place was understandably busy. We decided to sit outside as we didn't have a reservation and we didn't want to waste a lovely evening! Having been to Murphs before, we knew we wanted the chowder. At €19 euro for the two chowders and two glasses of water we were... More

Would highly recommend here for a night out. Great service, casual dining, great food. The glasses could do with a polish, otherwise 5*

We've been to Murph's 4/5 times in the last 12 months and most recently last Sunday Feb 18th. Once again we had a fab meal and couldn't fault it. The hake with crab meat was delicious as usual. Big portion/ beautiful sauce - a very tasty plate of food. The roast of the day was also excellent. Huge slices of... More

This is a brilliant Bistro, located in pleasant surroundings, serving superb high quality food. A great variety, excellent value and exceptionally pleasant staff. Both of the proprietors Laura & Michael (Chef) are perfectionists and only want the best for their customers.

Recently invited to a friends 50th celebration where we were seated upstairs, approx 20 adults and 6 children. Ideal seating situation as the parents could relax without worrying about other diners and the children could have their fun also. The food was superb, the menu choice something for everyone, really friendly staff and i can imagine on a fine day... More

Grabbed some lunch here with family. Menu was good and food was prepped and served fresh. All of us were really happy with the food. We had 2 young kids with us and the food was served at a great temperature for them. Not piping hot like some places and having to wait 5 mins for it to cool down.... More

Nice lunch, friendly staff. The mist obscured the view of Great Island. Short waiting time. Busy - always a good sign. Reasonable prices.
