For one of the best Restaurant experiences on the North Side of Dublin you have to try this place. We have been going there for many many years really since it started in Malahide.Recently I saw how some people leave such negative messages and just...had to post. One has to remember the pressure since Covid that some of these restaurants are under. Simply put even in the quiet months of January and February over the years this place is never quiet. They have built up such great loyalty from so many people from quite a distance away. In all the years we have never had a bad experience here - staff are extremely friendly - you could eat any of the dishes and bar guys are just "cool". Give these places a chance over the last two years. Tight restrictions have been in place and sometimes people forget that they were only allowed in for a certain time frame. After a few drinks they seem to forget all this and then if the staff seem to be pushing them to move on with the meal a little they take offence. Any how would like to leave the post on a positive note - we are booked in again shortly and we always look forward to our couple of hours out. Money wise I still think its great value for what you get.More

Visited during Christmas period. Very dissapointing, has definitely gone down hill, mains crispy duck with garlic and pepper not pleasant at all, same with my wife's prawn dish where the prawns were certainly out of a freezer . We used to like siam Thai but...unlikely to return.More

Since covid struck, i have been here twice. service has been reasonable and food likewise. but i agree with others, that their prices have gone through the roof. i had what was the simplest main course...siam fried rice. very basic , but overpriced for what...is was....fried rice with a few prawns and a few pieces of chicken. and the somelier was not very au fait with their wines. in all, it was passible...but just !More

The dim sum were fairly bland, tasted a bit like prepacked crab sticks. The beef massaam curry was tasty and the portion was a good size. I won't go back as we were not asked for Covid Passports and several staff members wore masks incorrectly.

We visited here mid week and couldn't believe how busy it was. It was great to see and made for a nice atmosphere. The food was lovely - we had wontons to start and Thai red curry and beef stir fry for mains. All very...tasty. I wud say slightly pricy for some. Service could have been better also. Started ok, very eager to take our order and then didn't see the waiter again apart from when the food came.More

Food was nice and good service from staff but it has gone so expensive since COVID. Chicken curry and egg fried rice €24.95 and that was just the mains. meal for 2people cost nearly €100 for starter, mains and tea/coffee, just one glass wine and...a soft drink didn’t even get dessert! it was tasty and ok portion but wasn’t stuffed after it so didn’t think it was good value for money. Pity as used to like going there but won’t be back.More

For early bird it’s “very expensive” for what you get . Poor starters ; bland , with no effort or interest in flavouring the food .

Spent my 40th ish Birthday with the great people in Siam last week and was treated to the most memorable occasion. My wife, two friends and I were greeted with Champagne upon seating (prearranged prior to arriving with the most friendly of staff). From there...on, everything was of the highest standard. One of the party does not normally eat Thai food and the staff made special considerations for them with their meal. The food in general was delicious. The staff were so diligent and respectful. We felt so safe with the seat spacing, where some restaurants have you on top of the next table. The bar staff made me a special birthday cocktail and it was better than any cake. The only problem is there are soooo many options. Special mention for the Gin Bath and Irish Legend drinks... WOW. Could not say enough great things about the place, cannot wait to visit again. Thank you Sharon, Cheryl, Model, Mark, Dan and all the staff for making the night so special, in such strange timesMore

A host who could not organise her waiters etc. The service was shocking. 45 minute wait between starter and main course. A 15 minute wait for the bill and had to ask 2 different people. Food was great but service was a disgrace, and for...that we won't be going backMore
