Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I have been to That's Amore a good few times in the last two years and have always been very satisfied. Good authentic Italian cooking with excellent service at reasonable prices. My particular favourite is the seafood linguine which is often on the specials. Also...the pollo Diane is very tasty. Tend to have a lot of family groups up to 7pm. Booking is recommended as it tends to be quite busy.More

I visit this restaurant quite often, the familiar atmosphere, attentive staff and amazing food keep me coming back as much as I can. From their daily specials, to homemade desserts, the That's Amore menu caters to anyone who comes. The restaurant has been around for...a long time, and with each visit I can see exactly why. I would recommend this homely place to anyone who likes to savour their food, and taste a calm corner of the Mediterranean. You will not be disappointed. Thank you kindly for having me, and I'll be sure to come again.More

Recent visit very disappointed. Ordered HawaiianPizza. Served bland from frozen. Complained & ordered spaghetti bolognaise instead. Server said ‘chef was insulted’ when I asked why, was told Italian restaurants don’t normally serve Hawaiian pizza, it’s for Irish customers they put it on. Oops 🙊 does...the chef realise that he works in Ireland & Irish people know the difference between fresh & frozen& he felt insulted that he served a frozen pizza. shame on you mr. Chef & server who was smart & rude.what was insulting was full priced charged & no apology. Avoid.More

We had a lunch with friends, 6 in total, and our experience was amazing. We ordered antipasti and main course but we received a nice complimentary tagliere with different types of bruschetta to share, very nice..... The seafood linguini is the best we had in...Ireland, very tasty and generous portion. Very good value and onest price, we will be back soon. The staff and the service is great and you feel like at home. Thanks million Enzo.More

I love this place. The atmosphere is cosy and welcoming. The food, Italian, is delicious. Lovely specials well worth trying, and a menu with something for everyone. The staff were lovely and accommodating any little tweaks we requested. We had the bruscetta which was delicious...and a very generous portion. The pasta and risotto specials and a truly delicious crumble to finish. So much better then some of the more pricey restaurants on the area.More

Friends, who live in Ireland, collected us at Grand Hotel, and we headed to this restaurant for dinner; it would have been a very easy walk. We had no reservation but we’re seated, and told that the table would be needed a couple of hours...later. That was quite ok with us. Our young server was charming, the food was delicious, as was the recommended wine. I really appreciated the non- interruptive service; we were glanced at, and since we were engaged in conversation, were not disturbed; that’s a well-trained server. Having local families enjoying dinner together was a lovely bonus. We left happily sated, and our friends were pleased to have discovered a restaurant new to them. Grazie!More

We're no strangers to That's Amore. Love the place. Great food, super staff, and - for Malahide - excellent value. It's a cosy and unpretentious restaurant where you're made to feel at home. I'm a big fan of the Boscaiola - it's pure comfort food...and quite a feast - but the menu has many attractions. Along with Sale e Pepe, it's the best bet in a crowded market in Malahide.More

Visited here the o e night we spend in Malahide, food and service were amazing, everyone was so friendly, full of local people and very busy. Risotto Portofino from the special Menu was brilliant, flavours blended beautifully together, homemade tiramisu with pistachio ice cream was...full of flavour, superb textures, followed by great coffee. Would definitely recommend and would advise to book, places like this are few and far between these days and it’s worthy of five starsMore

Stayed the night alone in Malahide to wait for my friend arriving the next day. Had googled restaurants before leaving home & chose this one. No tables as fully booked (& very busy) on a Sat. evening so ordered a takeaway pizza which actually suited...me better. It was delicious…up there with pizzas in Naples! Thank you to the guy who was so busy but looked after me well. A stand out Italian restaurant.More

We were lucky to get a booking on a Thursday night and what a meal it turned out to be. The restaurant was busy and the atmosphere great, a mixture of families, couples and parties all enjoying themselves. The menu was pleasantly varied and it...was easy to chose our selections and the house wine was excellent. Service was very good and the staff were pleasant and friendly making us feel comfortable. The food arrived in a timely manner and was superb. It has been a while since we have had such a tasty meal. To cap it all off the cost was very reasonable and we will be back again next time we are in Malahide.More
