On holidays for two weeks and decided to have some snacks out before restrictions put us back to take away only again. It’s pre original lockdown since we had any food out. Went to Malahide on Tuesday for a day out and sat outside Seomra...Tae to have a lunch snack. Their snacks were very tasty and well presented and went down well with a nice tea.More

We ordered the Mini Breakfast (€7.50 including tea), the Slimmers Breakfast (€8.75 including tea) and 1 French Toast with Bacon & Maple(€7.95). Both breakfasts were really delicious and this place is worth coming to just for the relish(a zingy unique taste), which was served with...both the Mini and Slimmers Breakfasts. Standout items on the breakfast plates were the pork sausage, relish, bacon and the white toast which was thick and crunchy. The French Toast was drenched in a lovely Maple syrup that was not too sweet. The portion sizes were satisfactory and filling for the price. We also ordered a Mango and Pineapple smoothie for €4, which was like a yoghurty Yakult with a really predominantly strong pineapple flavour. Very refreshing.More

Understated ambiance and wonderful service. This place is always bustling with locals, visitors, transient cyclists and many others who just happen across the cafe. Always has a homely feel and staff are warm and attentive.

Stopped here by chance after an appetite-building walk in the park. The food exceeded my friend and I’s expectations. Although prices were slightly steep for certain lunch items, the quality of food and friendly staff definitely compensated for this. Real homemade food and great atmosphere-...definitely worth a visit if in Malahide village. Small seating area outside was also perfect for the dog!More

As a local I have been here many times but only for coffee and cake in the afternoon. Unfortunately by this stage the selection of cakes / scones isn’t as extensive as earlier in the day as they appear to close fairly early. On the...plus side, there are some very comfortable seats and couches. This makes the interior very inviting. The newspaper is also supplied.....perfect if you are waiting for a friend who is delayed. The coffee is excellent ad the service is pleasant. They also a loyalty card.More
