All reviews steak prawns chicken wings seafood the early bird special of the day service with a smile monday night just the right amount three courses top class never disappoints nice atmosphere family dinner generous portions cooked to perfection wonderful meal
We visited for a family birthday and can't recommend highly enough. The food was superb with great specials on offer. The fish tacos were to die for.
Special mention to the staff, super friendly, welcoming and attentive.
Can't wait to go back!!
From the second we entered the restaurant we did not feel welcome! Very abrupt staff, bordering on plain rude! Actually they were just plain rude! I have to say the food was delicious and the only thing stopping me from waking out! If you want...service with a smile do not go here!!!!! Very disappointing especially in the current circumstances when staff could at least pretend to want your business! I would not recommend!More
Wonderful meal in Sale e Pepe last night. The food was of excellent quality and the service was very attentive without being intrusive. In the current environment the restaurant felt really comfortable. A thoroughly enjoyable experience and highly recommend
Specialised in seafood and steaks, they offer right at the heart of the coastal village of Malahide a very friendly service and a relaxed cosy ambiance.
After going there quite a few times already, I can best describe them as a restaurant that carries...tradition with proud, where nothing is too much trouble – besides of having a fair price range for the quality offered of food and drinks.
In our last visit – the first after the reopening – they made sure to demonstrate how they kept up with the great service after lockdown.. everything was spotless.
One of their main peculiarities is the popular ‘Daily Specials Board’ which presents a different and seasonal option to its guests. The only difference now is that the board is placed in front of us at the table instead of being hanged off the ceiling.
Well done, guys in the reopening and sending out love to Louise who always have a smile for us in our arrival and makes sure everything runs smoothly throughout our dinner!More
Amazing food, brilliant service & great value.
Wonderful restaurant, all Covid protocol followed and staff well prepped , Masks, hand sanitizer & well spaced.
Specials were superb, crab cakes & Monkfish excellent, desserts made in house, outstanding.
Malahide need to sort the the shambles outside,...making a mess of the Main Street , trying to make it something it’s not.More
We've been here many times since we first went in 1995 and it never disappoints. While herself tends to root around the menu, I've grown to love the jambalaya. The staff are so friendly, which is a key component on a night out, but it's...the consistency of the grub that demands repeat visits. There's also a unique ambience that makes Sale e Pepe an essential experience. It's so cosy. Love going there and hate leaving.More
If you haven’t been to Sale e Pepe yet then you are seriously missing out!! From the moment you walk in the service is outstanding. A welcoming smile from Carol as we walked up the stairs. We were a family of 6, celebrating my birthday...and we chose the early bird menu. Some restaurants minimise servings on such a menu but not at Sale e Pepe - generous portions of deliciousness! The prawns were so fresh - one would think that the chef had caught them that day! They were cooked to perfection! Chicken wings never tasted so good - just the right amount of spice and cooked to perfection! Most of our group ordered the seafood linguine - I’m repeating myself but yet again COOKED TO PERFECTION! We enjoyed a beautiful bottle of Shiraz from Victoria, Australia - ‘Four Sisters’. The service from Carol and Teresa was 5 star - attentive but not intrusive. A thoroughly enjoyable evening with excellent service and delicious food!More
