A mainstay of Malahide, Gibneys provides a focal point for a few drinks and live sport. Drinks selection is impressive and varied with as good a choice (and in some cases better than) that you will find in Dublin city centre. What does let Gibneys down however is the typically average pub food, maybe its due to the fact that... More

Lots of the bars and restaurants in Malahide are very pricey so Gibney's is a nice change and it's the best pub in the village in my opinion too. Great choice of wines, craft beers and whiskeys along with good, reasonably priced food.

Malahide just wouldn't be Malahide without Gibney's. If you've never been there make a point of going for a pub lunch. The atmosphere is great, the food superb and the location just perfect. Even the beer garden (smokers note) has great atmosphere. I love the place and visit it every time I'm in Dublin. A Bulmers with scampi...who could ask... More

I visited here with my wife as part of a night out. The good has a good outdoor area with gas heaters and a giant outdoor TV as well as some other smaller flatscreens. Inside there is a mix of eating area, sports bar with many screens including a couple of larger ones. All the football was on during our... More

This legendary pub attracts tourists and locals alike. Commencing with morning coffee and scones with newspapers an additional bonus for a quiet read. A wide ranging selection of beer, wine etc. is available and an extensive menu of food served throughout the day. There is also a sports bar with numerous tv's. Staff are friendly and efficient. Unfortunately the toilets... More

Relaxed and informal, quaint pub at the front, large area at the back. Plenty of seating, however it did get very busy. The food was very good and didn't take too long. Courtyard area at the back, a large seating and bar area at the back with screens showing a variety of sporting events. Plenty of families with young children.

Popped into hear after a beautiful long walk on the beach from. It wasn't too busy as it had been the day before, guess the rugby might have had something to do with it lol We had a snack, sandwich and a bowl of soup, very nice too. The usual pint of Guinness had to be had and was very... More

Grand pub. Local feel with lots of locals. Bit young out the back but grand. Best in malahide but town needs a better pub.

We walked into the pub side - not knowing that there were 3 different entrances - the cod and chips were good. The Guinness was cold and fresh. I expected more friendliness. It just wasn't there
