When booking table for 7 pm was advised that we had the table for the evening, one of the main reasons for booking as I had arranged to meet up with 3 other friends for a long overdue night out. Ordered starters which were nice....A group of 10 men arrived, they were not asked by any staff for their Covid Certificates. They were seated behind us, they were extremely loud !! We asked if it would be possible to move to another table but were advised this was not possible by the Manager (who wore his mask under his nose all night) who shrugged his shoulders and walked away rudely. Our main course arrived, 2 of which were Lamb Tava @ €21 which consisted of 5 small chunks of lamb, a few pieces of potatoe in a tamato soup which was tastless and overpriced. We ordered coffees and at 9pm we were made to feel very uncomfortable, staff coming over clearing the table, left the bill, without it being requested, hovering around, eventually being asked to leave as they were waiting for the table, despite being told when booking that we had the table booked until closing time. We paid the bill and left, continued our night of Cocktails in a local pub. Our first and last time to visit Cape Greko ...More

First of all I would like to say that if you went to all the trouble to open an Tripadvisor account to review our restaurant , it would be fair to us if you would tell the truth about your experience. We check everybody’s COVID...More

I cancelled a booking in a nearby restaurant because reviews said they weren’t checking covid passes. In this restaurant they never mentioned or checked covid passes. Very disappointing, especially in light of recent case increases causing delays in further reopening. Food was ok - not...spectacular.More

Sadly we were sat in the back left of the restaurant where we could smell the wicked stench of their toilets. When notifying the manager of this issue. They promptly asked me to come into the bathroom as a lame attempt to make me change...my sense of smell. This was met with only a confirmation that the toilets were in fact stinking up the area in which we were situated for our meal. Now, I was not paying for our meal. So I felt terrible for the individual that was paying. My rice was undercooked, chicken overcooked and the chorizo overwhelmed the dish. My prawns as my starter were overcooked and I couldn’t get the smell of the toilet out of my mind at that stage. All in all. I would not recommend. Also…. The manager did not try to make any changes when I told him. Just said the restaurant is full. I suppose they’re lucky people are desperate in a covid world.More

Enjoyable meal in this restaurant, we shared a starter of hummus which was ok. I had a lamb kebab, which was beautifully presented, tasted great & was too much to finish. My friend had the seafood Souvlaki which she greatly enjoyed. It's a nice restaurant,...the music was a little too loud but the staff were helpful & pleasant. We shared a bottle of wine which was good & well priced. My only real complaint was that the food seemed very highly salted.More

Great atmosphere and service. Menu is varied with plenty of Gluten Free options. A good wine list but my favourite is the Albariño. Offering indoor and outdoor options.

Got the food to take home tonight. Absolutely lovely. Although it wasnt strange eating the food at home instead of the restaurant it didnt take away from the flavour. Some foods dont travel well but it's not the case with Cape Greko.
