I accidentally booked dinner for Sunday night instead of Saturday night. The 6 of us turned up on Saturday at 7pm and then realised my mistake when she couldn’t find the booking. I felt so gutted as we were all dressed and looking forward to...the meal. The host was so nice. They were obviously fully booked but she squeezed together two tables for us and then served a drink on the house for the “rocky start”. It was just lovely. The meal was stunning, filling, and so so tasty. Highly recommend this spot, Malahide’s best Resteraunt 👍More

Had dinner here on a Friday night. Prawns to start then ribeye beef. Both very good. My wife enjoyed hers as well. Staff friendly and efficient. Covid precautions excellent, felt safe. So good went back for lunch on Saturday and it was great again.

Fab meal and service. We availed of the take away menu a few times during lockdown (super food) and couldn’t wait to visit now that restrictions have lifted. We had an early eve booking and we were celebrating a special occasion (anniversary). Service was excellent...and Katie really made our evening and ensured we were well looked after. Food was delicious and cooked to perfection. I had the tagliatelle with prawns which were grilled and so flavoursome. Homemade pasta was delicious and very generous portion! We were given a drink on the house which was a lovely gesture. We like to support local and especially during these challenging times! Tables were all well spaced apart. Highly recommended. Great spot.More

After hearing a lot about the place we went there tonight. Lucky we arrived just in time to see a very noisy table leave. First impressions were not great, got the menu on a simple piece of paper. Ordered drinks which arrived full of ice...cubes. Ordered the charcuterie, which arrives with two small croutons. Also ordered a carpacio which was cooked. Fish main dish was fine. Rib eye rare arrived well done. Staff disappeared. Glass of wine which was only a quarter full. Time for desserts, menu on a simple piece of paper again... it looked nicely priced at €3.50 but as it arrived it was a simple miniardise. Two tea spoons and gone. Nice but nothing grandiose. You need at least three of them if you want to equal a cafe gourmand...the positive point is that no one pressured us with the bill as we needed to look for some one to request it.More

We ate here as a family of 6 on Friday. We didnt have a booking and were very lucky to get a table as it was busy, but the management made a big effort to squeeze us in. The menu has great variety. The adults...all opted for fish of the day and the children opted for a fish in chips. Every single one of us loved our meals. The fish of the day was sea bass. It was cooked to perfection. The children's food was of a very high standard and was wolfed down by then. The desserts were heavenly. We normally dont order desserts - but how they are presented at your table - was too tempting. Great value and fantastic flavours. Lastly the service was really excellent.More

I have been telling everyone about this restaurant since I first tried it and was very enamoured. However I have been disappointed the last couple of times. The setting and service is good but the food is definitely not of the same standard. As an...example, tonight I had prawn risotto. It was tepid, bland and the prawns were overcooked! This meal was €33. I am a bit psycho re prawns being cooked properly but these were massively beyond this. Plus I had the same issue last time. They seem to cook them on a bbq or something like that based on flavour. Flavour is good but flavour isn't everything.More
