Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Booked a table on the Thursday night to make sure we would be ok but the restaurant was quiet. Pricey enough at first glance but the steak was huge and perfectly cooked as were the sides. Linguini with prawns, mussels and crab claws was excellent,...Service was great. Couldn't manage a desert so can't comment. Easy step up to Gilroy's Bar for a cocktail served well. Great night, food and experience. Recommended.More

My wife and myself really enjoyed our meal there tonight. Great atmosphere. Great staff. Great food. The rhubarb infused creme brulee for desert was worth the visit alone.

Visited here for dinner, having been a couple of times over the last few years. I was not disappointed, the menu choice was great and the food lived up to expectations when it arrived. A really lovely evening in a fabulous place to eat.

Hidden gem. You would never notice it from the road so we were pleased to have found it on Tripadvisor. Gorgeous food and lovely staff.

What a gem of a restaurant. If you’re in the area, this place should be on your itinerary. Supremely good food, coupled with exemplary service. We worked our way through a three course meal in reverent near silence, such was the quality of the food....Knockout dishes (IMHO) were the gravadlax and a beautiful roast beetroot salad. Mains, we all ate the duck which was cooked to perfection and served with a sauce perfectly matched with the meat. Desserts (again, really good) and dessert cocktails topped off a splendid evening. Thank you, Ait Eile; we had a wonderful evening, with the added comedy of having four Brits trying (and failing) to pronounce your name!More

First visited a few years ago and it was just as excellent this time. Starter goats cheese was beautiful and tasty. The seafood linguine was absolutely outstanding and I'd travel the couple of hours for that alone again. Other half had the hake and said...it was the best cooked piece of fish he ever had in a restaurant and he's a chef for 30 years! Very friendly, happy and efficient staff who obviously take pride in their work. Will be back!More

Myself and my wife went here and both ordered a burger which cost us over Thirty Euro. Due to the restraunt being full we had to get takeaway which didnt bother us. The burgers were delicous but they were not 30 Euro for two burgers...and a few chips. Personnally we feel it was a rip off and we may not come here again.More

A very friendly restaurant with friendly staff. The food was exceptional! I chose the seafood linguine and it was one of the best I’ve tasted! Tiger prawns, mussels, fresh crab claws, garlic, lemongrass, chillies, samphire, Dijon and tarragon sauce. 10 out of 10 to the...chef - this was spot on! My wife had the sautéed confit chicken stuffed with black pudding, etc very tasty although I think she was looking enviously at my linguine, having sampled it. All washed down nicely with a pint of Guinness for me and a glass of Sauvignon for my wife. A very pleasant evening with good food, drink and ambience + excellent staff!More
