There is not much choice in Ballyshannon so hoping for a good meal. We weren't disappointed, nice ambience and tasty food. Service good also. Wife and one son had tge burgers very flavoursome. Other son enjoyed his chicken strips. I had the Sea bass very...nicely cooked and presented. Desserts were of a high quality. Only down side was for such a fine menu children is still chicken, burger, sausage with chips etc like most restaurants.More

Came here with a group of 16 people last week. From start to finish the entire group felt like a burden. Despite being polite and patient, ever member of staff made us feel unwelcome. Every member of staff is EXTREMELY rude and I would advise...they all look for a new job as hospitality definitely doesn’t suit them! As the biggest group in the restaurant and racking up quite the bill, blunt encounters with staff and forgetting entire drinks orders is not acceptable. Food was nice but nobody asked us so I can’t imagine they care too greatly!! Avoid and give your money elsewhere ☺️More

Stopped off for dinner after a day at nearby Rossnowlagh beach, great Covid19 set up, super service and a delicious meal.

Went to Nirvana recently with a group of friends and we were extremely disappointed. Many of the group weren’t happy about their main courses including the pasta and chicken burger. We will not be returning.

In comparison to the elegant aesthetics in the restaurant, the food was really disappointing. The steak was of very bad quality ,distasteful and tough . I also felt the menu was overpriced . I told the waiter my thoughts , and was still faced with...full price although I ate a mere quarter of the meal (The New York State Platter) for €25. The pint of Heineken was also poor . In summary , the worst factor is that I felt I was dismissed due to my age of 18 .More

We were in early on a quiet week day in the off season, but found the food to be really excellent. Both the local sourced steak and the fish were superb and there was a decent wine list. Service was also excellent, but only one...other diner at that time so not really stretching it of course, but I am guessing that it is good when busy as well. Very relaxed atmosphere. The restaurant was walkable from our B &B as many note, down a side street but well marked and easy to find. A lovely dinner for two.More

Had a very nice meal at Nivana. Steak was very good and the seafood chowder was amazing. Service was very friendly. For a restaurant the prices were reasonable.

Had dinner in Nirvana tonight with friends . Very understated relaxing restaurant. Good food friendly staff especially the lovely Rudi who looked after us. Full marks to all. I paid with a load of Euros mostly coins I'd saved from my last holiday lol

Four of us had a lovley meal in Nirvana, Ballyshannon - down a side street but well advertised across teh town - Starters were Goat Cheese & Black Pudding, just lovely and Vegetable soup - again perfect with brfown bread. Main courses were Lamb Shank,...Cod and a Wild Atlantic Way seafood platter, all of which was absolutely beautiful! Reason i have dropped a star is the service - we had been calling a range of numbers earlier in the day to book a table anbd had difficulties getting through so when we turned up, you would have sworn we had dirt all over our shoes, the way we were treated because we had "no booking?"....& the restaurant was half empty!More

Visited here last Thurs evg after a long drive from Cork.Food, ambiance and service all excellent. Our server, Gerard, was terrific.Under pressure and obviously busy, but he still managed to be friendly, efficient and interested. I had steak which was amazing, everyone was pleased with their...food.We were last to leave restaurant as we had been late to arrive but were not made to feel rushed in any way.More
