Great coffee. Worth a visit for all coffee lovers when in Ballina. It is located in the SMA arcade which is up an alley way on O'Rahilly Street.

Staying in Killala and was in need of a good coffee - went to Dave’s in Ballina and got a great coffee and a really nice salad. Service was also great and very friendly. I will be back!
In the 2 weeks we just spent in ireland this was without doubt the best coffee we had .. we were travelling around the area but would try to get back to ballina as much as we could to get one of Dave's coffees ..liked...the Ethiopian blend the most !More
One of the best places around Mayo for a range of coffees. I love going into Daves Deli in the mornings - A list of various coffees to suit your strength.
It’s still 5 star all the way. Not only is Dave open, he tells me he hasn’t really shut shop all through Wu Flu; now politicians note there’s real public service for you. I arrived at Dave’s to find a queue and once again the...customers were admirably well-versed in the source of and style of the coffee they preferred and they were talking to an expert. When it came my turn, I simply asked Dave for what he considered to be his tastiest coffee - after all he knows much more about it than I do do. All I can say is that what I got was superb, darn great value and simultaneously he also proved that he did know much more than I did. Ballina is a beautiful town and the area is stunningly beautiful. It promotes itself as a fair trade town - a place with a conscience and a sense of fairness -.and Dave does his bit here. He deserves at least 3 green stars. His coffee is shade grown and bird friendly, all his food is fresh made to order, and importantly, is locally sourced, he uses paper bags and his cups are corrugated paper. He has plastic cup lids but it’s up to customers to decide to take a lid. I didn’t. We all need to be more astute to ethical issues and strive to become ethical consumers, after all the earth is our only home and it ain’t recyclable so we do need to start to think green star values as much as we do when deciding stars to award in our reviews. There’s a green star project to google (if that’s the term) that offers helpful advice and information. It also dawned on me that realistically we only drop by Ballina to get coffee from Dave - if he shuts shop we likely won’t stop by again. Sadly it’s take away only: Ireland won’t open up to sitting in cafes and restaurants until this July, the exception being hotels where you must be a resident.More
The best coffee I've found in Mayo. A fantastic variety of coffee, snacks and food. Definitely ask for their strongest coffee👍🏻..... and don't forget to tip.
This really should be top of the list for coffee shops in Ballina. Best coffee available, the knowledge of Dave and his array of coffee is second to none. Cheaper than the chains and without doubt the best coffee available.
I prefer to purchase my coffee from local cafes and was advised that this was the best coffee in town. A small cafe hidden in an alley, I have to say that the advise was correct as the coffee was simply exceptional. I didn’t have...any food so can’t advise there and I would have preferred a plant milk but don’t expect the demand is there. Will return - oftenMore
During my visit to what can only be described as a coffee connoisseur's dream, the widest range of coffee beans I'd ever laid eyes on with food to match the amazing selection, an absolute must if you are in the area and a guaranteed return...spotMore
We visited here based on the TripAdvisor reviews and we were not disappointed. Food was fantastic and the people were super friendly. Located inside a small arcade with tables outside the coffee shop. If its winter, be sure to dress warm. Fantastic selection of coffees...and teas. We had three breakfast pancakes, (toast, giant homemade pancake, black and white oud, 2 sausages, an egg and a bacon) a sausage pancake(3 giant pancakes and 3 sausages) , copious amounts of maple syrup, 2 teas, coffee and waters all for under 40euro. Cannot recommend this place enough. Loved it.More

Had an absolute delicious breakfast here with my father last week - the coffee is so tasty, not at all bitter and the french toast and bacon was devoured lol!
