Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Recommend by my local coffee shop in Dublin, Bean serves delicious Coffee, sweet treats and sausage/black pudding rolls. Opens 8.30am - get there early to beat the well deserved Qs. Staff are very friendly and the shop is well organised for these Covid-19 times (currently takeaway only).

This spot was totally worth the 15 minute wait in the queue. Very tasty coffee and an even tastier chocolate and butterscotch blondie, by far the most mouthwatering blondie I’ve ever tasted. Yum, thank you.

Last week, at the end of August, I finally decided to take my first solo trip to Dingle. It was a gloriously warm day and the picturesque town was bathed in bright late summer sunshine. I hadn't eaten, so my first stop was An Cupan Tae, where I enjoyed a latte and a delicious home made scone, complete with jam and fresh cream.
After strolling around the shops, I made my way to the harbour, where I booked a boat trip round the bay and surrounding cliffs.
Whilst waiting, I ventured into one of the local pubs for a welcome bowl of chowder, served with brown bread. Delicious!
I then set off to queue for the boat trip. This proved to be the highlight of my day as we had a bird's eye view of the amazing scenery that Dingle Bay has to offer. I opted for a short boat trip, an hour, as that was all the time I needed. There were other, lengthier options available.
Once back on dry land, I made one final stop, to Murphy's. No visit to Dingle is complete without a Murphy's home made ice cream, I chose coffee & butterscotch. A perfect end to a perfect day!

Bean is a delight. Just amazing coffee and perfect pastries and great service. I always walk from the harbour to Bean for my coffee and sometimes make a detour to Dingle if I"m int he area for the coffee

So I don’t normally write a review for a coffee place, but when the girl behind the counter said the chocolate chip cookie might be the best in the world, I was sceptical. Having eaten most of the chocolate chip cookies in the world, I know a good cookie. Well, it turns out my skepticism was sorely misplaced. We may folks have the new winner of the best cookie in the world and you only need to go to Dingle, Ireland to find it. Very good coffee as well!!

Stopped off here on a winter's day when passing through Dingle. Such a pleasant surprise to find a cosy and bright café offering a fine range of homemade cakes and coffee from locally roasted beans. Staff very friendly and attentive. Good value too.
Yes it's a busy spot but there's always someone about to leave and we got the window seats which were worth waiting for. Ireland needs more cafés like this! Will definitely be back.

Lovely coffee and really friendly staff. Very busy little spot. I got a delicious mini banana bread and bought a bag of their whole bean to take home (which the staff kindly offered to grind for us if necessary). Took our coffee away but had a lovely sip while wandering the streets of Dingle.

If you are a coffee addict like myself then queue for this place if you have too. It’s small but the queue moves. The best coffee in Dingle and probably most of Kerry. It’s deserves all its awards and reviews. They have amazing food too .. they have a flourless chocolate brownie .. bought that as it was gluten free for my daughter. Honestly the best brownie I’ve tasted in a long time and I’ve tried a lot! Also venture 20m down the road to Bacus Bakery for their outstanding baked goods. A Bean in Dingle coffee and a cinnamon bun is the breakfast of champions in this town! I would give it 6 stars if I could.

Bean in Dingle is a coffee bar located in Dingle, a fisher town in the southwest of Ireland. We came here to have breakfast a cappuccino and a cake of chocolate and hazelnut, which were very good. A modern and comfortable place to have breakfast.

A great place to grab a coffee to go. I try to call in here whenever we're in Kerry.. if the queue isn't too long! The staff are always courteous no matter how busy they are. They also sell some very tasty treats.

We found this coffee cafe from Trip Advisor. These guys really know their coffee. As soon as we walked in and saw the large yellow La Marzocco coffee machine, I knew we had found the best coffee shop in town. We had not seen the yellow La Marzocco since a trip to New Zealand in 2019. And there are some outstanding coffee shops down under.
Very busy, magnificent carrot cake, almost as good as the coffee. Well worth the walk up the hill from the harbor.

Great oat milk cappuccino! Got a coffee here every morning while we visited Dublin. I loved their blend so much I even bought two bags of coffee beans to take home and use in my own machine. Absolutely delicious with very friendly staff!

We had kunch just up the road and wanted a nice coffee for after, BEAN did not dissapoint! We are big coffee lovers and could tell we came to the right place when we arrived. The smell of coffee from the outside was just amazing! Great queue system going on too. We both got ice lattes and a blondie for later on (which we actually forgot about till late that night so was a pleasant suprise) and they were wonderful. Great service here too. We will be back!

One of nicest coffee shops we’ve been to, well done to the owner and team. Fab coffee and the cakes were so good, I believe they’re made by the owners mum? Delicious, in fact we went twice in one day, how greedy is that!
If in the area again, we’ll be back 💛

Cute little coffee shop with friendly staff. Turned out the best cuppa we had during our trip....and my husband and daughter are pretty picky about their coffee! Nice sandwiches as well, for a quick grab & go lunch.
