Stopped for a lunch on our hike from Dunquin to Dingle. The food was excellent both the Seafood Chowder and the Brie Salad were especially good. We sat outside and watch the kitesurfers! Definitely recommend this great wee bar!

Lovely creamy chowder yesterday. Terrific location; sitting in outdoor area with fabulous view of the strand. Friendly, efficient service. Plenty of parking nearby.

Quinn’s ventry - sorry to report that my experience was disappointing . Fish cake starter was good ( compared to my main ) but it was lacking in flavour Drinks service was very slow - it was hard to get drinks while we dined. Some...staff can only deliver food / can’t take orders - and they didn’t get someone who could take an order when you asked ! Our table was booked well ahead of the arrival date but was not available when we arrived - after 10/15 mins I pointed out that there was another table free facing the sea but we were told they were expecting a large crowd to sit at the table ( they gave the table to two local diners a couple of mins later) while we were offered an indoor table in the very run down restaurant and we were eventually seated behind the band The cooking v poor- our two mains were over overcooked - veg and prawns & the tuna were sadly over cooked - disappointing experience considering the prices charged. I didn’t eat most of my main course and one staff member asked why snd I explained that it was over cooked - to be fair he said sorry but nothing else was offered. Similar experience for two other parties who dined there in the past month. Would recommend for drinks only or to go when live music is being played - note the performance was being recorded and live streamed - shame about the food as it’s in a super location with an amazing view .More

Visited with a group of 4. It was hit and miss as to who got the good meal and who got the inedible one. Two starters were good and large portions. 2 chowder left a lot to be desired. Main courses 3 very good meals...and 1 had to be handed back. Asked for a senior staff member to complain and we weren't charged for the chowder and steak but that left one very hungry person. Staff very young.More

Seafood chowder not great. Not a lot of fish. Mussels starter great and large portion. Monkfish lovely and generous portion. One of our company had one of the best prawn dishes ever. And again a very generous portion. On the other hand another friend had...the steak. Returned it almost intact. Barely able to cut it let alone chew it. Did the butcher let the restaurant down? Mentioned this to more senior member of staff and in fairness we were not charged for one of the starters or the uneaten steakMore

I had the great pleasure of entering some friends in Ventry village this past weekend. It’s not my first time in Quinn’s so I knew what to expect. The location is fabulous with probably the best views in the country. Then you are greeted by...Paul and his team, warm, welcoming and on the ball. The food is truly top class at really reasonable prices. Highly recommend for lunch or dinner you won’t be disappointed.More

Just loved Quinn’s in Ventry, fantastic food and very friendly staff, all very welcoming and polite. The location of this place is amazing with views of beach that are breathtaking. I will definitely be back here on my next trip. 👍👍👍
