I gave this place a good review pre-Covid, but today’s experience was so different. The product is the same reasonably high quality ice cream and the service is as slow as ever, but the whole experience is ruined with blatant price gouging. We stopped in daily when we were in Dingle for 3 days. Fantastic! Very creamy and flavorful. I chose a double chocolate scoop and an Irish cream scoop if I remember correctly. It was so good I couldn't convince myself to try anything else! Highly...recommend!More

This is a great little joint with yummy ice cream. They cater to coeliacs in that they completely understand cross contamination and get fresh ice cream for customers. Delighted to have gone here and staff very friendly

Murphy's of Dingle is famous for its ice cream and has two outlets in Dingle just a short walk apart. In between the two sits Kool Scoops. The owner is usually there dishing out ice cream. We stop in numerous times on our annual four...week visit to Dingle. The ice cream is outstanding. My wife adores the honeycomb variety and I like the pistachio, but all the flavors are spot on. Sorry to all other places serving ice cream in Dingle but Kool Scopes is THE place to go for ice cream and for coffee. Terrific flavors at very reasonable prices and the coffee and lattes are top notch! Treat yourself, you will nor be disappointed.

I tried their pistachio ice cream and found it to be full of nuts and delicious. I believe that I preferred this to "Murphy's" as I thought this to be more flavorful. It's kind of an unfair comparison though as I ordered different flavors at..."Murphy's." I should have gone back to both places for seconds!!! :)More

Had a fantastic rum and raisin cone best I’ve ever had. The server was polite and friendly. The shop was bright and clean and I would recommend this place to any visitors of Dingle

Tiny shop but big flavor, this ice cream was on a par with Arran Ice Cream from Scotland. Wonderful creamy goodness.
