Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

For our second night in Dingle, my wife and I enjoyed dinner at Paul Geaney's. I had the roast lamb, which was very good. My wife had the chicken and mushroom pasta, which she also enjoyed. The portions were large. Service was good, and prices...were reasonable. With a drink each, our entrees, and tip, dinner ran about 50 €.More

We had a lovely bowl of chowder and a truly wonderful gluten free pizza. Four stars overall, but five stars for pub food.

This was, by far, the worst dining we had in our 2 weeks in Ireland. First, you should think of this as a bar that also happens to serve some food on the side. The day we were there, the was a hurling match on...the TV and almost the entire space was filled with people standing and shouting about the match; mixed in with the handful of folks eating meals was a large bridesmaids party that was, if anything, louder than the hurlers. There was no chance for a conversation over our meal. And, the food was not worth it. We tried the beef as well as the lamb; both were well cooked but the gravy tasted like flour (out of a tin, maybe?). There are other, WONDERFUL places to eat up and down the street (Doyles, Land to Sea or Ashe’s within a block of Gaeney’s) and others near the harbor…. Try one of them!!More

The meal was very disappointing. I wasn't very hungry and so ordered the seaood chowder. It was the worst I've ever had in Ireland and had only two small pieces of fish in it. My husband's chicken pizza was very average. We had been recommended...to the place by the owner of our accommodation so it was a shame. DIngle is a very expensive place to eat, think London or Paris prices.More

We popped in for a quick drink and stayed for two. The bar has a lovely atmosphere and those that were eating seemed to be happy with their well presented dishes and we could see empty plates being returned which is a great sign A...lovely pub and we look forward to a revisit for foodMore

We had 2 nights in Dingle and were so impressed with this pub and its food, staff etc on first night that we went back 2nd night and enjoyed both nights. Such hard working staff who still had time to have the banter with customers...that makes an Irish pub what it should be! Despite a major rugby match on tv, 2 hen parties in different areas of the pub and general weekend crowd, they managed to give everyone a good night out. Would definately go back and certainly recommend.More

We stopped in here on a Sunday afternoon to watch the football and have a few beers. There was plenty of screens to see the game and the beers went down well

Great food and service. We had the roast beef dinner. Just like a home made dinner. The sticky toffee pudding was delicious too.

The place that was recommended was too crowded. We ended up at Paul Geaney’s. What a great surprise. Our server was attentive & friendly. Our lunch of the fish & chips - which was right out of the fryer. Crispy & hot. The chicken &...mushroom Vol au Vents was rich and creamy; and a generous portion. The kale salad hit the spot. It was crisp and fresh with a wonderful blend of flavors.More
