We came in on Sunday and had the roast lamb. It was the best food we have had in Ireland so far. We likes the place so much we came back for a second night in a row. The fish and chips was great too....The batter is nicely seasoned. Great service too.More

We visited here during our stay in Ballydavid after a recommendation from our B&B owner. We dined outside in the huts specially built for outside dining (these can hold up to 8 people). For us, this is without doubt one of the best places to...eat in or around Dingle. We visited here three nights in a row and in honesty if we had found here at the beginning of our stay, we would have eaten here every single night!! The food was absolutely fantastic, the flavours were to die for and the portions were spot on. The chefs are the stars here, they are obviously very talented and passionate about food and it shows. This is a family run business and you can see that they care about what they do, they really look after their customers and make you feel special… thank you so so much, thank you to Sandra who looked after us so well. We didn’t get to try everything on the menu (hopefully we will get to visit again and try the other dishes) but we can recommend the chicken wings, the monkfish and scallops, oh wow this was an unbelievable dish! The Hake, the daily roast and the beef burger, you have to try the crumble and the chocolate brownie !!!More

4 of us dined at An Bóthar Restaurant at the beginning of August. Lovely location at the foot of Mount Brandon. The Restaurant looks very well from the outside. Inside was spacious and well laid out. The staff were friendly and efficient and coped really...well with the COVID Check in. We had calamari and chicken wings for starters which were very tasty. Three of us had the roast lamb for main course which was very nicely cooked (for us) and really juicy. The Tiramisu for dessert was scrumptious. All in all a lovely experience at a very reasonable price. We would definitely return on our next visit to DingleMore

We were touring around slea head drive with a large group, advised by a local to go to An Bothair restaurant and pub, we weren’t disappointed! We visited the restaurant 3 times on our recent trip to dingle. Chicken wings, homemade soup and fishcakes all...great starters. Mains - hake was delicious, monkfish and scallops amazing, steak sandwich, homemade burgers and chicken burgers all so tasty and filling, and roast of the day great value and very tasty also. Desserts delicious too. If you want to get away from the craziness of dingle this restaurant is a 10 minute drive out near Brandon creek, they will take reservations (we had 10 one night) lots of restaurants in dingle don’t, try this really good family run business, the couple who own the business were so accommodating, great service by there daughters, their son is the chef, all our party agree he is very talented. They check digital certs and tables well spaced out and we felt very safe there. Well done An BothairMore

This a wonderful place. Muiris (the owner) is very welcoming and helpful. We were on a walking tour of Dingle and got caught in the rain - we called An Bothar, where we were staying that evening, and Muiris drove out to rescue us, and...then offered to dry our wet gear. The food was excellent and our room was lovely, with a wonderful view of Mt Brandon. We were really well looked after and are very grateful to our hosts. We will certainly stay there again if we are in the area.More

Simple tasty food nicely presented by lovely pleasant staff. Great effort made to create dining huts to protect against the unpredictable Irish weather. Lovely views out back and well worth a visit if in the area.

Great pub for pub food, well done, well cooked, nice staff (family business) and friendly. That have built cabins that you can book so you enjoy your food with an amazing view, with no wind nor rain, which is a brilliant idea. Definitely recommend!
