It was a very quiet night and it was clear, not a lot of people would come in. Bank holidays do that. I was greeted, Covid QR code done and shown a nice table. The specials board showed a few good options and chose those....My GOD was it nice. Being very quiet, you run the chance of being asked if all was OK every 2 minutes or so, but not here. Very pleasant and good atmosphere. Next time I'm in Dingle I definitely will be back.More

Apart from the excellent service, very little else made us think about going back. The food was below average, and over priced. The fish was tasty but spoilt by the soggy batter. Presentation was very basic, and what you would expect in cheaper restaurants/pubs.

Very nice setting and friendly staff. Food was okay although overpriced. Chowder we liked and mussels were average although it did say they weren’t local. We were informed of the card machine not working. The home made stout was amazing! Would recommend.

We stopped here on a sunny Sunday, from the outside looked very nice. We were seated, 2 adults 2 kids without delay and we're told there would be a 15min delay due to crowd..not sure why cause inside had very few people seated, as had...the back yard, regardless, we said we would wait. After about 15 mins we were asked for drinks.. we ordered, and after about 40 mins we eventually got to order food, what was advertised as fish, chips, and mushy peas arrived, it was dismal, the peas came in a little paper container that you usually get condements in at a fast food joint. My daughter got pasta, the water was never drained, so her pasta was in a bed of water. My other daughter got steak that was pure grissle. I appreciate restaurants need to make money due to covid, but this was just wrong. Don't ever recall spending so much money and still being hungry. Cop on. The Killenard is charging €5.30 a pint of Guiness, so what are you offering that you think is seriously worth €6.30 a pint of local stout? Would never go back again. If you spend in the region of a €100 per family of 4, you at least expect to be full leaving the establishment.More

Ate here last night with my husband as was recommended by our b&b and it did not disappoint. Very pleasant and professional staff who were more than happy to help with menu choices. There was just a lovely atmosphere all round which will definitely have...us returning next time we are in Dingle. We had crab claws, scallops and hake and my only complaint would be not enough crab claws, they were divine! Finished our night with a cocktail each looking out at the marina, perfect!More

Popular seafood restaurant in Dingle on the seafront. Good fish and chips and chowder. I would give the crab claws a miss though.
