Great spot to go with friends. Food is delicious especially the hake and mussels. Don't skip on dessert either!

Delicious food, especially chicken wings and hake. Definitely don’t turn your nose up on the sticky toffee pudding, best I’ve ever had. Service was good, compliments to all members of staff
Poor service. We ordered a dish to share, but did not get a set of extra plates. Prices were without tax and they miscalculated the bill 2x. bad.
Americans here visiting and we loved this place! Great flavor and quality seafood. Attentive and pleasant staff. We wished there was lobster in stock, so we will likely be back again to hopefully score some!
Fabulous spot beautiful view food was good a bit expensive but nice staff very friendly and helpful .
Having appreciated this place many times a couple of years ago, we went in confidence for a lunch. Unfortunately, everything was changed in this restaurant. At first, the lovely veranda was rebuilt in a terrible modern style, very charmless. The food was served quickly, directly...from the freezer, and the frozen chips were like sponge. Many waiters cleaning here and there around us as we were eating, because they had nothing else to do (6 waiters for 4 customers). Finally the bill was pretty huge regarding the quality, and payment only in cash !!! Never again.More
The food was ok, but very salty. All 3 of us had this problem with both starters and mains. The staff weren't very friendly to be honest. A bit expensive for what we got.
The places looks modern, refined and almost elegant from the front, but it is cozy inside and the parking across the street is plentiful and inexpensive. The staff is bustling and a little surly when it is busy but I am guessing they excuse themselves...by claiming it is just tourist town charm. The menu is seafood heavy, but there is something for everyone and the burgers looked especially well-constructed. The fish and chips are amazing to look at but the fish is pooling in oil and the fries I got were stumpy. The tartar sauce is clearly home-made and exceptional but the greens arrive limp and oddly dressed with a sweet note. The drinks are ok but the signature "pornstar" martini is silly and sophomoric...if not also very tasty.More
Back again for the best Chowder and Wild Atlantic Seafood coupled with the Taste of Dingle Bay Crab platter in Ireland with the family. Only one way to describe it, AMAZING !!
The seafood chowder was SO AMAZING that we came back the next day for more! The seafood platter was enough for two females when we added an extra bowl of chowder (we didn't want to share). Nice wine list.
This was our worst meal in Ireland. Service was slow and rude. Did not feel welcome there. Many better choices in an awesome town.
Great food, service, and atmosphere. The seafood chowder was so good we came back again for more the next day. We highly recommend The Boat Yard.
Hi guys just a first off myself and my patented would not be one’s for complaining ,however this was VERY AVERAGE at best for the price point.First off when we entered the restaurant we noticed a lot of tables were waiting to give there orders...for over 15mins and we could see the staff under pressure which was not there fault they were clearly understaffed.Staff seemed severely under pressure and didn’t seem one bit happy nor did myself or partner see a smile. The bad man especially I asked for 2 cokes for myself and my partner and he just dropped them down without saying a word. When I asked for them it was like I was asking him to pull teeth.Sorry but myself and my partner like every other paying customer are essentially paying he’s wages so he is either badly trained or hates he’s job! Calamari for starter was nice and my partner had mussels they were nice too, solid portion..We both got fish and chips for main and we were so disappointed. Chips were frozen and my partner counted 12 chips on her plate for a main priced at €21:95? Fish was tiny, I couldn’t believe it and was really oily, such a let down. For 2 starters ,2 mains and 4 minerals it cost €83:20-at best it was worth about €55. Price point for what you get is way off-I’ve honestly had better fish and chips from chippers.I really would avoid this place. We have previously ate in the Fish Box and Harringtons in Dingle and they are far betterMore
Went for lunch, today with my wife. Having ordered drinks we decided on hake for both our main meals and duly ordered. Only my wife was served and no explanation was offered as to my meal, after 2 minutes I went to ask our waitress...where was my food. Advised that she had made an error and only ordered one meal but my food was only a minute away. Returning the table I suggested my wife should start or her meal would go cold, good decision or bad. You decide! After a further 8 minutes no food so I advised the waitress not to bother with my meal. We asked for the bill and was charged for one meal and two drinks, all items partially consumed. Upon going to pay I offered to pay 50% due to the failure to supply both meals, but was advised that I must pay in full! Having reiterated that I was only prepared to pay a % of the bill I was offered a credit to cover my drink. I decided this was unacceptable and was advised that the Garda would be called, so I agreed that would have to happen as I was not prepared to pay in full Garda duly arrived and advised that I must pay for what I ordered . Upon advising that I had not received any food, this was amended to what I had consumed or part consumed and faced with this I paid the bill. My question is does this seem fair, reasonable, good customer service??.More
It was so loud in this restaurant due to the high ceilings, you can’t even talk to the person next to you let alone across the table. Service was poor, food mediocre and overpriced.
