Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Great ambience, service and food. Pizzas and salad were stunning. Chocolate coins for our teenagers also big hit and such fun. 😊

I loved the restaurant and the food was fabulous. Even though i did not make a reservation, i was able to sit at the counter and have my 3 course meal. They cater for vegan/vegetarians so that was great. I had a salad for a...starter which was so large that it was like a main meal proportion. I could not finish my pizza. Their pizzas are legendry. And i had dessert. Really yummy.More

We loved this place, our favorite eating experience on our trip to Dingle. The hospitality was welcoming, and attentive. The food was excellent and creative - best pizza we’ve eaten for a long time, with no issues catering for various food intolerances, and lovely side...salads - we particularly enjoyed the Japanese option. The wine list was good, with a very nice guest wine from Casa Silva. Food and wine were all reasonably priced. The decor and music provided an intimate and vibrant setting for a very enjoyable evening. We will definitely be eating there again before we leave.More

JonDoeeewf, I hate to disagree, but we found the Blue Zone to be exceptional in every way. The owner was a pleasure to talk to and the food was delicious. He recommended a wine that we all agreed was a perfect compliment to our meal....In all fairness, since Covid, the restaurant businesses have suffered the most and everyone should be much more considerate of what it is they’ve gone through and what they continue to go through. Sounds to me like you’re a bit to hard to please. Next time, stay home.More

If you are looking for a French pizza restaurant with a hostile environment that would rival French air traffic control or London Underground strikes, then this is just the place for you. Where do I start.. You have an interesting walk up to the restaurant...with what can only be described as Minimal effort in health and safety.. all I will say is be prepared to damage a few limbs straight off the bat. On entrance, you are greeted by a man who could pass as a dobbleganger to Jeff Goldblum, with his stylish black specs. This man is the owner/ front of house and how he manages to put himself forward for this job is beyond me. Drinks and food... If you like an owner to contradict you, gaslight you and even take a swig of a glass of wine you purchased then look no further, this man is the one for you. The unprofessionalism was shocking to say the least.. rude, arrogant, obnoxious would be generous words to describe this man. I would have received a better reception in the Kremlin. Along with multiple options not being available but any small change in request like a Gluten free base, causes emotional and physical pain to the owner. His garlic bread can also be purchased in the frozen aisle in SuperValu for those customers interested (BYOS) The restaurant owner is highly unprofessional and I would only recommend to people who enjoy stressful situations along with a room temperature similar to the Sahara desert Apart from the owner, the rest of the staff were a breath of fresh air! Respectful and professional.. the fact they even choose to work in this restaurant is a mystery, would not be me. To the owner: stop being rude to customers, we pay for your business to operate, not to sit there feeling like your sitting your final exam in school or trying to pitch to your boss why you deserve a raise.More

Hostile owner seems to get off on the fact that his intentional passive aggressiveness can’t stop the flow of business in peak dingle summer season. Would not recommend this restaurant to anyone who respects themselves.

Yes Sparky, that is why we have been at this very place 20 years, people really hate the owner, and they keep coming just to prove you wrong. Have a nice day.

Yet again the Blue Zone delights and more than satisfies! Fabulous food. Best salads. Love the Casa Silva Carmenere. Generous portions in these inflationary times. But it’s the atmosphere that makes it a truly fun place to dine. Great music and most importantly good acoustics...so you can appreciate the sounds as well as the conversation. Thank you!More

Everything was great! Fantastic family run business. The food was addictive and the ambiance was adorable. The owner Patrick was also very kind :) we were only in Dingle for two nights, we ate here when we first arrived and we had to come back...the second night because everything was so good. As an added bonus, they had dairy-free cheese to accommodate my vegan friend. Would definitely recommend!More

The pizza here is pretty basic. Very thin crust. Nothing particularly stood out ingredient wise. Not sure there are better options for pizza in Dingle or not. The side salad was quite good.
