Very unique flavors, irish coffee and dingle salt (salt obtained from actual dingle sea water) both very good. Priced reasonably, very friendly staff.

Make sure you stop in for a taste...or two....or three. Amazing specialty flavors that will delight. Fun stop in downtown Dingle.

Be sure to try the specialty ice cream! The staff is extremely friendly and the ice cream is some of the best around!

I first sampled Murphy’s ice cream in GalwayCity and thought it was very good. After sampling other brands in a few other (unnamed) Irish towns I came to appreciate how uniquely excellent Murphy’s ice cream is! Was happy to rediscover it in Kilkenny.

We showed up to Murphy’s just after closing time of 10:00 on a Thursday night. They took pity on us, likely having seen our desperate need for a sweet treat! The ice cream was everything we hoped for! Excellent! I had a dish of butterscotch...More

After a nice lunch we passed on dessert because we were advised that we had to have an Ice Cream at Murphy's. Delicious!

If you live ice cream (as I do!), make sure you try one here. The staff are very friendly and you can try as many flavours as you like before you buy. I can recommend the simple vanilla with sea salt, delicious!

After several tour stops in Dingle, we had 'free time' for Lunch on Our Own. On our way into town, our tour director pointed out the Blue and White building--Murphys Ice Cream Dingle which he said was so special because the treats were made with...More

The ice-cream is good but nothing special, portion sizing is poor though. A few of the old favorites have disappeared from the menu too. Staff are great and are always very helpful. The new set up of the counter, till and work area in the...More

Great idea. Their ice cream is wonderful and we always look forward to it when in Dingle. Hopefully Kieran will create a loyalty card or even better loyalty app! I think that could be very successful for Murphy’s.

Murphy's might translate well in a larger urban Irish community such as Boston or NYC. West coast not so much. It's fine ice-cream, but there are many exceptional ice cream shops locally.

Hi, Fred. Afraid not, although a larger size is relatively cheaper - i.e. a large has more ice cream for the price - so maybe get a larger size and share? Best, K

Description
Murphys Ice Cream is the flagship shop of this upscale Irish ice cream company. They use milk from the indigenous Kerry cow breed and have won many international awards and accolades. Some of the flavours you might find are their world famous Dingle sea salt ice cream, Irish brown bread, Dingle Gin, and Irish rainwater sorbets, and many more. They have special ice creams worth looking for, such as their Dreamy Creamy Caramel, which is truly beautiful.
