Friendly staff and service is great. We had their caramel and butterscotch ice cream, it was ok, I found it a little too sweet. Did tried their sticky toffee pudding it wasn’t great. They make it with brown bread instead of dates pudding.

Stopped here after we did Slea Head Drive. They had a flavor of the day, a caramel cream in a cup. We decided to have that, it was fantastic. Stop in if you visit Dingle.

Their service is great with a friendly greeter at the door giving samples, their flavors are creative and include "specials" that are combinations of flavors and textures and the ice cream is creamy and delicious.

Delicious Ice cream, they have so many different flavours. I had the sea salt ice cream and caramel. To me just the best delicious combination. They are happy for you to try before you take the tough choices and which to limit yourself to.

Not sure what all the fuss is about. It was okay but nothing special. It was Good to try the flavours before buying but I wasn’t that keen on any of them. I definitely don’t think it is the best ice cream in the world...More

It was my Dads birthday so we went to have ice cream in his honor and we happened to find one of the Condé Nast top rated scoop shops in the world! It really was delicious and we luckily had a 75 degree day! We...More

It has been for years and still is one of the best ice creams ever made! Their honeycomb or caramel icecream is nectar of the gods. Try Dingle Gin or Sea Salt for something adventurous and SO surprisingly tasty.

We stopped here while on a tour with Rory of DIngle Slea Head Tours. It was a wonderful treat. Salted ice cream reminded of my dad's homemade icecream from years ago.

What’s more refreshing on a hot sunny day than an ice cream cone? Great little shop with many flavors to choose from. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Great idea. Their ice cream is wonderful and we always look forward to it when in Dingle. Hopefully Kieran will create a loyalty card or even better loyalty app! I think that could be very successful for Murphy’s.

Murphy's might translate well in a larger urban Irish community such as Boston or NYC. West coast not so much. It's fine ice-cream, but there are many exceptional ice cream shops locally.

Hi, Fred. Afraid not, although a larger size is relatively cheaper - i.e. a large has more ice cream for the price - so maybe get a larger size and share? Best, K

Murphys Ice Cream is the flagship shop of this upscale Irish ice cream company. They use milk from the indigenous Kerry cow breed and have won many international awards and accolades. Some of the flavours you might find are their world famous Dingle sea salt ice cream, Irish brown bread, Dingle Gin, and Irish rainwater sorbets, and many more. They have special ice creams worth looking for, such as their Dreamy Creamy Caramel, which is truly beautiful.
