I rarely am in Killarney at a time that allows for a quick visit to Murphy's, but last Saturday I was in luck. The girl with the tasting tray on the doorstep seduced me into purchasing one of the new flavours. Buttermilk was interesting, as...More

I first tried Murphy's Ice Cream when my husband and I visited Killarney... I was skeptical about the sea salt flavor but knew it was popular because it was almost gone. I gave it a try and was pleasantly surprised by the subtle and smooth...More

Absolutely excellent ice cream - lots of wonderful flavours e.g sea salt, and really friendly staff. It's not the cheapest but since when does the best come cheap.

Flavors like Oatmeal, local honey... We did not find it expensive for the artisanal quality they were producing. It costs as much or more in New York or Chicago or Rome!

Our trip was made just that much better with this sweet treat! The flavors were decadent, the sea salt caramel being one of my favorites!

Delicious ice cream with a range of flavors-- including sea salt ice cream with local sea salt. The staff are very friendly and encourage customers to taste flavors.

Murphy's might translate well in a larger urban Irish community such as Boston or NYC. West coast not so much. It's fine ice-cream, but there are many exceptional ice cream shops locally.

Hi, Fred. Afraid not, although a larger size is relatively cheaper - i.e. a large has more ice cream for the price - so maybe get a larger size and share? Best, K
