We stumbled upon Murphy’s on our first night in Dublin and my kids were hooked immediately! We had to go back in on our stop in dingle, and the girls working were so genuine, personable and friendly! It was the topping on the AMAZINGLY delicious...More

We think its the best ice cream around! Some great choices of types of flavours. And you get a lot for the money too.

Sampled Murphy’s Ice Cream more times than I want to say in the 4 days we spent in Dingle. Don’t judge... it was holiday time and the ice cream was heaven during the Irish “heat wave” in May.

I visited couple of their shops in Dingle. They have a selection of flavours to choose from, including some unusual ones likes Sea-Salt and Brown Bread and I personally loved both of them. You can mix two or more flavours if you wish and get...More

For a family of Texans who indulge in the bluebell ice cream often we were surprise by how much we liked the unusual flavors. We will certainly have another scoop if we pass again.

This is the richest ice cream I’ve ever tasted. They use local cows which are famous for a high cream content. The flavors are also unique, like gin and sea salt flavors.

Our experience with the murphy shop closest to the pier on strand street was bad. The rude attitude of the server ruined our experience. She totally ignored us and went to the next customer even though we were standing right in front of her. When...More

Dear Koabug Thanks so much for stopping in! I'm so sorry about the service. We work very hard to try to make it beautiful for everyone, but obviously not in this instance. Best, Kieran

A must go to for ice cream lovers. Don’t let line ups put you off. It moves quickly and the pleasant young staff at Dingle offered samples as we waited. It was a hot day and I very much enjoyed my Dingle gin and Raspberry...More

And the small cone was a perfect size to not over indulge. Had the Irish Coffee which really has a touch of whiskey in it... So good.

Great idea. Their ice cream is wonderful and we always look forward to it when in Dingle. Hopefully Kieran will create a loyalty card or even better loyalty app! I think that could be very successful for Murphy’s.

Murphy's might translate well in a larger urban Irish community such as Boston or NYC. West coast not so much. It's fine ice-cream, but there are many exceptional ice cream shops locally.

Hi, Fred. Afraid not, although a larger size is relatively cheaper - i.e. a large has more ice cream for the price - so maybe get a larger size and share? Best, K

Murphys Ice Cream is the flagship shop of this upscale Irish ice cream company. They use milk from the indigenous Kerry cow breed and have won many international awards and accolades. Some of the flavours you might find are their world famous Dingle sea salt ice cream, Irish brown bread, Dingle Gin, and Irish rainwater sorbets, and many more. They have special ice creams worth looking for, such as their Dreamy Creamy Caramel, which is truly beautiful.
