This is my favorite ice cream I’ve had! A little expensive for ice cream, but I enjoyed every minute of it!

It's not the best ice cream in the world, but it is darn good. Good choice of flavors. Friendly service. They have two locations not far apart. We often stop in for an afternoon treat or have a cone as dessert after lunch in a...More

Between gigs at the Other Voices, we stopped in for some icecream. The staff were very helpful and offered samples of the different icecreams before we chose. Very refreshing.

A tasty array of fresh flavours, made from hand milked Kerry cows and with hand cracked eggs, and where ever possible all ingredients are local and/or Irish (except the chocolate which is French). Some flavours are standard while others rotate. For an unusual flavour try...More

Try Cool Scoops ice cream on the same street. It is delicious, locally owned, and less expensive.

Murphy's might translate well in a larger urban Irish community such as Boston or NYC. West coast not so much. It's fine ice-cream, but there are many exceptional ice cream shops locally.

Hi, Fred. Afraid not, although a larger size is relatively cheaper - i.e. a large has more ice cream for the price - so maybe get a larger size and share? Best, K

Description
Murphys Ice Cream is the flagship shop of this upscale Irish ice cream company. They use milk from the indigenous Kerry cow breed and have won many international awards and accolades. Some of the flavours you might find are their world famous Dingle sea salt ice cream, Irish brown bread, Dingle Gin, and Irish rainwater sorbets, and many more. They have special ice creams worth looking for, such as their Dreamy Creamy Caramel, which is truly beautiful.
