Really enjoyed the trip to Murphy's in Dingle but felt that it has become a little overpriced compared to its competitors. Very friendly and helpful service. Well done !

Murphy's is good ice cream with interesting and unusual flavors, but we were not overwhelmed. Maybe our expectations were too high. We tried 3 different flavors but not one stood out as being extra special. The two young folks working that particular day could care...More

People I had talked to raved about this ice cream and after trying it for myself, I can see why! The flavors we tried (brown bread, sea salt, butterscotch and chocolate) were all delicious. In addition to that, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming....More

Visited here with family this week (and another branch in Galway too). This place has nice staff and decor and the ice cream is good. It has the same menu in both locations. There are individual flavours on the top menu for cones or cups....More

You must try the Dingle Gin and Raspberry combination. It's delicious! I also tried the Brown Bread ice cream. So hard to choose! Lovely service and free samples too!

After lunch snack is a good reason for stopping in. The people here are very customer friendly, allowing you to test taste before you buy. Dingle Gin was a real winner!

Try Cool Scoops ice cream on the same street. It is delicious, locally owned, and less expensive.

Murphy's might translate well in a larger urban Irish community such as Boston or NYC. West coast not so much. It's fine ice-cream, but there are many exceptional ice cream shops locally.

Hi, Fred. Afraid not, although a larger size is relatively cheaper - i.e. a large has more ice cream for the price - so maybe get a larger size and share? Best, K

Description
Murphys Ice Cream is the flagship shop of this upscale Irish ice cream company. They use milk from the indigenous Kerry cow breed and have won many international awards and accolades. Some of the flavours you might find are their world famous Dingle sea salt ice cream, Irish brown bread, Dingle Gin, and Irish rainwater sorbets, and many more. They have special ice creams worth looking for, such as their Dreamy Creamy Caramel, which is truly beautiful.
