Murphy’s was a treat. When in Dingle, gotta go here at least once. I had the caramel and brownie chocolate. Rich and great.

We loved Murphy’s so much that we went for ice cream a whopping 5 times during our week in Ireland. Our first experience with them was in Dingle. The staff was friendly and let us try several different samples. I think my favorites were the...More

We had a small cup of the Dreamy Creamy Caramel ice cream and it was delicious. The perfect way to end dinner and walking in Dingle. The place is clean and inviting with friendly staff.

I don’t usually indulge in ice cream, but when the milk and butter are as amazing, as they are in Ireland, you just have to indulge. They were giving out tastes as we walked by Murphy’s and based in that and word-of-mouth, we took the...More

I’m a licorice and vanilla ice cream fan. They had neither. They offered the fennel and salted caramel as alternatives. I have to give them an A+ for effort and all the people coming and going they just didn’t have what I like but the...More

My wife and I are something ice cream connoisseurs, so our standards are quite high. That being said, Murphy's actually deserves the hype. Irish Milk sure does make some delicious ice cream. Inventive flavors and great service really make for a double whammy. Worth going...More

Be careful of the free sample...they are addicting and you definitely want more. Get the sea salt and caramel.

Great idea. Their ice cream is wonderful and we always look forward to it when in Dingle. Hopefully Kieran will create a loyalty card or even better loyalty app! I think that could be very successful for Murphy’s.

Murphy's might translate well in a larger urban Irish community such as Boston or NYC. West coast not so much. It's fine ice-cream, but there are many exceptional ice cream shops locally.

Hi, Fred. Afraid not, although a larger size is relatively cheaper - i.e. a large has more ice cream for the price - so maybe get a larger size and share? Best, K

Description
Murphys Ice Cream is the flagship shop of this upscale Irish ice cream company. They use milk from the indigenous Kerry cow breed and have won many international awards and accolades. Some of the flavours you might find are their world famous Dingle sea salt ice cream, Irish brown bread, Dingle Gin, and Irish rainwater sorbets, and many more. They have special ice creams worth looking for, such as their Dreamy Creamy Caramel, which is truly beautiful.
