We were made to feel very welcome. Offered us virtually unlimited tasting of different flavors. Were very good at drawing people into the store, esp during the rain. Ice cream was good with unique flavors.
Delicious !!! I chose the Dingle Sea Salt & my hubby had the Chocolate Whiskey. I have to go back to Ireland asap for the Dingle Gin and Pink Peppercorn. I tried a sample....also, delicious.
Icecream is delish but the staff are amazing. They really hand pick them. We had sea salt, butterscotch, lemon curd and honeycomb but had a taste of everything. Well done. Worth a visit
Michael greeted us in the store and was the most helpful person we came across during our trip to dingle. He recommended I tried the chocolate whiskey with the butterscotch and it’s safe to say I was delighted. Excellent service and top quality ice cream....I cannot wait to revisit next time I’m back in dingleMore
A cute little Ice Cream shop located in historic Dingle. I'm basically an ice cream expert. I've had ice cream all over the world. Custard in Wisconsin, Gelato in Florence. I will happily eat ice cream on a freezing cold winter day. Murphy's is debatably...the best ice cream I've had outside of the USA. We ordered the vanilla sea salt and the honeycomb. Both were amazing.
Murphys is a bit expensive for the amount you get, but the quality and taste are top-notch. Friendly Staff.More
I thought the place was just overpriced and fashion, but definitely not : the ice cream is delicious, service is fast but not rushed, and prices are correct. I got "honeycomb caramel" and "sea salt", both were amazing. I'll go again if I'm around !
let me start with this: the staff is soooooo friendly and warm, how does the ice cream keep cold?
I feel bad for not remembering their names!
I sampled almost all flavors and it didn't seem to bother them at all, quite the contrary they...were happy to oblige. I ended up getting Dingle gin and sea salt and dare I say this is one of the best ice cream and combo ever!
Bonus..they got me the best hot chocolate ever. I think they just made it for training or a picture and I was very happy to have it!More
Murphy's is kind of a must-stop in Dingle. I had the butterscotch, which was very good. They definitely had flavor combinations which I hadn't seen before. A bit pricy for the amount you get.
Yum. Wonderfully rich & creamy with interesting flavor options. We all loved the Sea Salt, but the Brown Bread, Butterscotch, & Raspberry were big hits as well. There honestly wasn't a flavor we sampled that we didn't like. You can taste the difference that high...end ingredients make in the final product. The staff was friendly and generous with samples. Expensive? Absolutely. Your 5 year old probably won't appreciate it. But it is worth every penny for the quality and flavor. Delicious!More
Murphy's might translate well in a larger urban Irish community such as Boston or NYC. West coast not so much. It's fine ice-cream, but there are many exceptional ice cream shops locally.
Hi, Fred. Afraid not, although a larger size is relatively cheaper - i.e. a large has more ice cream for the price - so maybe get a larger size and share? Best, K
