We enjoyed two dishes rare in restaurants back home (Pacific NW USA), seared Monkfish and rack of lamb, and both were excellent, as was the seafood chowder -- a dish many Irish restaurants take very seriously indeed; Chart House's version was a perfect balance of...creamy broth and generous chunks of salmon, whitefish, and shellfish.More

A smashing meal at the Chart House - fabulous food with excellent service - loved every minute of our evening. To add to all of this at the end of the evening we were unable to get a taxi and the owner drove us home....What a generous thing to do. Thank you to all the staff seen and unseen. We will call again.More

It has become a tradition with some friends to spend a night in Dingle after a week in the nearby Gaeltacht and each year we try a different restaurant. This year we booked the Chart House and we weren't disappointed! The standout starter for me...was the mussels which was a special on the night. Served in a creamy sauce with chilli and ginger; the flavours were subtle and interesting. I tasted the chowder and the Annascaul black pudding starters that others ordered and everything was very tasty. Two of us ordered the Fillet of Kerry Beef for our mains and it was perfectly cooked to each preference and good news for me who doesn't like truffle, I couldn't taste it in the roasted cauliflower and truffle puree (maybe not great news if you love truffle!). The portions are generous here and some of couldn't finish but we were able to take leftovers home to be devoured later that night. Sadly it meant we had no room to try dessert. The staff were friendly and professional and really added to the night - thank you to the woman with the lovely glasses and the man who had recently moved to the area, sorry we didn't catch your names!More

We stopped here to see if here was a table and luckily enough there was one table left. We had been out walking during the day and had our walking gear on. We were seated straight away and given the menu. We both had the...hake which was cooked to perfection and served with new potatoes. The quality of ingredients was perfect together with the service was excellent. Cant wait to returnMore

This will be short but to the point. Out food was fantastic from start to finish. The wine was as good. 😅. Service was polite and friendly. Don't hesitate to book and if we are back in Dingle we will. Thanks to all involved

It’s worth every five dots review. Best table in Ireland so far. The appetisers’ sample is a must if you don’t get a set menu. We had to book as early birds to get a table but it was absolutely worth it. Certainly not the...cheapest option in town but it absolutely worths it and the wine is also very decently priced. Congratulations to the chef and the attentive staff.More

This was by far our best meal/experience in Ireland (so far) we were early enough to take advantage of the set menu (amazing value/quality) Seafood chowder was full of fish, including mussels (very good) as was the homemade bread and cold butter (yipeee) main courses...were the Hake and the chicken, both perfectly cooked and tastes. We forced ourselves to have desserts! Great ice cream and a brownie (rich chocolate cake) were a great finish to an excellent meal. Service was first class and this restaurant was busy, however it never felt so. Highly recommend you bookMore

Wow. What a meal! I arrived in Dingle in the evening and walked 100 yards to the Chart House, not expecting too much from this understated small restaurant. But what a meal it was. Fresh bread, irish butter, freshly made gluten free bread and dairy...free butter (for those that had dietary restrictions), fresh salads, dish of the day muscles directly from the ocean, and then fresh fish for all including the catch of the day. An incredible meal with great service. A delight!More
