John Benny’s is a lovely place to spend an evening, great food, good prices, nice outdoor seating area, good atmosphere and friendly staff. Patrik, one of the waiters was especially friendly and made us feel very welcome. Very easy to book a table online also,...would definitely recommend!More
We booked two nights at John Benny’s for our trip to Dingle as they had a very easy to navigate system online and we had heard good things about the place. We did not end up eating here the first night as the table we...were assigned was exposed to rain. We were disappointed as staff didn’t make huge efforts to attempt to keep us there but we still returned the following night, excited to have their steak baguette which we had heard so much about. Unfortunately, neither of us could have had it as it was served up to 6pm. The menu after 6 is very limited but we enjoyed our meals all the same. Cocktails were mediocre- very much something you could whip up at home yourself and they didn’t exactly match the description on the menu. The staff were pleasant and the pub was very compliant with social distancing guidelines which was a breath of fresh air while on our stay in Dingle as not many places were compliant.More
Great food and atmosphere
Could not have done more for us on the two nights we ate here staff for fantastic and covid regulations where spot on you where not on top of each other compared to other restaurants.
Food was fantastic and reasonably priced...compared to some other places robbing tourists.
When we come back to Dingle we will definitely return to John Benny's.
See you again soonMore
The service was excellent, lovely atmosphere within the bar and nice decor. The food was wonderful, we had seafood linguine and fish and chips and they were both delicious. My only complaint would be not many vegetarian options but plenty for pescatarians. Would definitely recommend...and would return for the seafood linguine and mussels!More
Were served by Scott throughout the night and he was attentive and very obliging in recommending local favourites as well as turning the heat lamps on when we had gotten cold which was a massive plus. Majorly recommend when visiting Dingle as the atmosphere and...staff are absolutely top notchMore
My partner and I went for an early lunch, we were met with a lovely young waitress who was more than accommodating. However, I ordered the Fish of the day and my partner ordered the Chicken Caesar salad. The salad was lacking everything. For €13...for it, I got only a few leafs, two small pieces of chicken and a half hard boiled just egg slapped on the plate . This was extremely disappointing. The chips served with the fish looked like oven bought chips just thrown on the plate. For the money we spent we were very underwhelmed by the food and could’ve spent it elsewhere for something a lot more enjoyable.More
