Wonderful little restaurant that serves nothing but the freshest seafood. Make reservations well in advance because the place is always packed. The service is first-rate, and the dining room is cozy and quirky for such serious cuisine. The fish is clearly fresh and a treat for someone from Baltimore, Maryland, where the only seafood anyone eats is oysters, crabs, and... More

We had the pleasure of eating at Out of the Blue, a seafood only restaurant, while on a two night stay in Dingle. From the street it is easy to overlook this place. It's painted bright blue, is funky and quaint. But walk by during the dinner hour and you will be immediately drawn inside by the smell of incredible... More

We had to reserve a table,as we triedto walk in on wednesday and it was full so we booked for the next night and were not disappointed. It was comfortable, the food was fresh seafood and creatively served. we had a lovely fleurie wine with dinner and were very satisfied.

We loved the restaurant's policies: Only seafood on the menu. Only the freshest items from the day's catch. And no chips!!! Dingle has earned the award of being Ireland's foodie capital, and it's well-deserved thanks to restaurants like OOTB. Service was great and very efficient, but turnover is a little fast - they are obviously busy and it's not the... More

Food and wine were outstanding. I had whole sea bass and my wife had the salmon salad plate. Atmosphere and service were very nice.

Great restaurant overlooking marina, excellent quality food, as you’d expect they do only serve fish that is freshly caught that day. We shared a tuna Carpaccio starter, my partner had the cod main and I asked for the mackerel starter as a main portion which they kindly obliged. I am a huge fan of mackerel and this was amazing and... More

This was extremely expensive and, quite frankly, not worth it. My partner ordered the bisque - it was good. I had the mussels - they were served in a ridiculous sauce and, what is worse, made me ill. The mains were both served with a random selection of salads on the place. All looked like they were picked from a... More

Fresh, fresh seafood. Beautiful décor. Attentive service. Would go again for sure for a special occasion but is expensive for everyday dining.

The food is very good. Fresh fish, well cooked. The staff is very nice and smiling. The place is really charming, a small restaurant on the pier. One of the thing we really appreciated was a little list of fish names translated in several languages. Our knowledge of English fishy names was quite limited before that :)

Really enjoyed our dinner at Out of the Blue. Big tip is do the early bird special. The restaurant is pricey and the early bird saves money. You can get a two course for €27.50 or three course meal for €31.00 on the early bird. The menu changes nightly depending on what fish come off the fishing boats....can't get an... More
